Sınıf Öğretmeni Adaylarının Okuma İlgi Ve Alışkanlıkları

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının okuma ilgi ve alışkanlıklarını çeşitli değişkenler açısından belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma betimsel nitelikte olup ilişkisel tarama modeli uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya Orta Anadolu'da bir üniversitenin Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalında öğrenim gören 157 öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Veriler, bağımsız örneklem t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, tukey testi ile ki kare testi (?2) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre, öğretmen adaylarının okuma ilgisi puanlarının cinsiyet, öğretim türü, mezun olunan okul türü, gelir düzeyi ile babanın eğitim düzeyine göre değişmediği görülürken, anneleri farklı öğrenim düzeylerine sahip katılımcılar arasında anlamlı biçimde farklılaştığı bulunmuştur

The aim of this research is to determine pre-service classroom teachers' reading interests and habits with respect to various variables. To this aim, the research was designed in the descriptive pattern using relational screening model. In the research, 157 pre-service classroom teachers from the Faculty of Education of a university in central Anatolia participated. Data were analyzed using independent samples t-test, one-way variance analysis, Tukey test and chi square (?2) test. It was found, at the end of the research, that pre-service teachers' reading interest scores do not differ with respect to the variables of gender, type of education, type of previous educational institution, income level and father's educational background, whereas it was found that these scores significantly differ between participants whose mothers' have different educational backgrounds
