ŞEYHÜLİSLÂM MUHAMMED BAHÂÎ EFENDİ'NİN MANZUM FETVÂLARI -II

Abstract

Osmanlı'da 16.yüzyıldan itibaren fetvâlar da nazmen verilmeye başlanmış ve bu yolla şeyhülislâm veya müftülere ait yüzlerce beyitlik bir fetvâ edebiyatı oluşmuştur. Fetvâ, bir meselenin hükmünün müftü veya şeyhülislâm tarafından kaynaklarından araştırılarak verilmesi işlemidir. Bu kelime; yiğit, genç, kavî anlamındaki fetâ kelimesinden türemiş olup müşkil bir meselenin güçlü bir cevapla çözülmesi işlemini anlatmaktadır. Manzum hâlde verilen fetvâlar çok az olduğundan birer nümune olarak fetvâ kitaplarında özel biçimde yer almıştır. Genellikle usta divan şairi şeyhülislâmlarca yazılmış olan bu fetvâlar aynı zamanda bir edebî tür olarak görülmüştür. Manzum hâlde fetvâ vermiş şeyhülislâmların önde gelenlerinden birisi de Muhammed Bahâî Efendi'dir. Daha önceki makalemizde onun beş adet manzum fetvâsı tanıtılmıştı. Bu makalede ise onun sonradan tespit edilen manzum fetvâları tanıtılmaktadır.

In the Ottoman since the 16th century fatwas have also begun to be given the poetry form. In this way fatwa literature was formed consisting of hundreds of couplets of sheikh al-Islam or muftis. Fatwa, is solution process of provision of an issue by the mufti or Shaykh al-Islam as investigate the source. This word, comes from the root fetai in the brave, young, strong sense and it is an issue that a difficult problem is solved with a powerful answered. Because poetry fatwas are quite few, they are placed specially in fatwa books as an example. Usually written by the master poets of Sheikh al-Islams, these fatwas are seen also as a literary genre. Mohammed Bahai Efendi is one of the prominent poetry fatwa owner. In our previous article his five poetry fatwas were introduced and in this article his later identified poetry fatwas are introduced.
