Ulusal çocuk cerrahisi kongrelerinde sunulan deneysel çalışmaların değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Ulusal çocuk cerrahisi kongrelerinde sunulan deneysel çalışmaların değerlendirilmesi amacıyla retrospektif bir çalışma planlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Son 10 yıl içinde Ulusal Çocuk Cerrahisi Kongresi'nde sunulan deneysel çalışmalar, sunuldukları yıllar, sunum çeşitleri (sözlü sunum, tartışmalı poster ve poster) ve konu başlıklarına göre geriye dönük olarak incelenmiştir. Değerlendirme sırasında Türkiye Çocuk Cerrahisi Derneği web sitesindeki kongre bildirilerinden yararlanılmıştır. Bulgular: 1999-2008 yılları arasında düzenlenen ulusal kongrelerde (n:10) sunulan 1.725 bildirinin 342'i (% 19.8) deneysel çalışmadır. Bu çalışmalar arasından 198'i (% 57.9) sözel bildiri, 108'i (% 31.6) poster, 36'sı (% 10.5) ise tartışmalı poster olarak sunulmuştur. Bu kongrelerde 81 (% 23.7) gastrointestinal sistem (GIS) modeli, 76 (% 22.2). genitoiiriner sistem (GÜS) modeli, 70 (% 20.5) iskemi reperfüzyon modeli, 58 (% 16.9) yenidoğan modeli, 17 (% 4.9) karaciğer ve safra yolu modeli, 16 (% 4.7) travma ve şok modeli, 13 (% 3.8) doku kültürü modeli, 8 (% 2.4) yanık modeli ve 3 (% 0.9'i) deneysel pnömo-peritonyunı ile ilgili model sunulmuştur. En sık yapıları çalışmalar vezikoiireteral reflü, nöropatik mesane (n:47) ve testis tors iyonu ile ilgili iskemi reperfüzyon (n:40) modelleridir. Bu bildirilerden 82'si (% 23.9) SCI ve/veya SCI Expanded kapsamındaki dergilerde yayınlanmıştır. Yayınlanan çalışmalardan 49'u sözel bildiri 33'ü ise poster olarak sunulmuştur. Sonuç: Ulusal Çocuk Cerrahisi Kongrelerinin önemli bir kısmını deneysel çalışmalar oluşturmakta olup, bu çalışmalar ile ülkemizdeki çocuk cerrahisi klinikleri uluslararası literatüre önemli katkıda bulunmaktadırlar.

Aim: A retrospective study was performed to evaluate the experimental studies presented in National Pediatric Surgery Congresses. Materials and Methods: Experimental studies presented in National Pediatric Surgery Congresses for the last 10 years were evaluated for presentation years, presentation types (oral presentation, poster with discussion and poster) and the topics retrospectively. Congress presentations in the website of Turkish Association of Pediatric Surgeons were taken into consideration. Results: Total number of342 (% 19.8) experimental studies from 1725 presentations were presented in National Congresses (n:10) between 1999-2008. Among these presentations, 198 (% 57.9) of the them were oral presentations, 108 (% 31.6) of them were poster and 36 (% 10.5) of them were poster with discussions. In these congresses, 81 (% 23.7) gastrointestinal models, 76 (% 22.2) genitourinary models, 70 (% 20.5) ischemia-reperfusion models, 58 (% 16.9) neonatal models, 17 (% 4.9) hepatobiliary models, 16 (%4.7) trauma and shock models, 13 (% 3.8) tissue culture models, 8 (% 2.4) burn models and 3 (% 0.9) experimental pneumoperitoneum models were presented. The most common performed studies were vesicoureteral reflux, neurogenic bladder (n:.4I) and ischemia reperfusion models for testicular torsion (n:40). Eighty-two of these presentations were published in SCl/SCI-Expanded indexed journals. From published studies, 49 of them were oral presentations and 33 of them were posters. Conclusion: Experimental studies constitutean important part of national pediatric surgery congresses and with these studies pediatric surgery clinics in our country have an impartant contribution to the international literature.
