Hurûfat Defterlerine göre Ayıntâb Kazası'ndaki vakıfların işleyişi ve yönetimi

Abstract

Yüksek Lisans tezi olarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada, Osmanlı döneminde Ayıntâb Kazası'nda kurulan vakıfların zaman içerisinde uygulamada aldığı şekiller ve karşılaşılan problemler ve vakfı kuran kişinin vakfiyesinde belirttiği şartlar üzerinde yaşanan tartışmalar ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışma bir bakıma, Hurûfat Defterleri'nden yola çıkılarak, Ayıntâb Kazası'ndaki vakıfların, XVII. yüzyılın sonlarından XIX. yüzyılın başlarına kadarki dönemdeki işleyişini, görevlilerin kimler olduğunu, ne tür tartışmaların yaşandığını ortaya koymaktadır. Böylece Osmanlı tarihi çalışmalarında, belki belge yetersizliğinden, diğer dönemlere göre az çalışma yapılan bir dönemin, aynı zamanda sosyal bir kurum olan vakıfların, bir Osmanlı kazasındaki genel durumu gözler önüne serilmiştir.Bu çalışmayı, Osmanlı kurumlarının klasik dönemden, modernleşme dönemi uygulamalarına geçişin yaşandığı dönem çalışmalarına bir katkı olarak da görebiliriz. Bu dönemde, önceki dönemlerde de olduğu gibi, Osmanlı toplumunda vakıflar, hayrî bir müessesese olmanın dışında, belgelere yansıdığı kadarıyla göreve talip olanlar için bir iş kapısı olarak da görülmüştür. Yaşanan tartışmalar ve görev istekleri bunu açıkca ortaya koymaktadır. Buna araştırmamızın ana kaynağı olan Hurûfat Defterleri'ndeki örneklerde de sıkça karşılaşmaktayız. Bu çalışma ile Ayıntâb'ta kurulan vakıfların genel işleyişi ve durumu ortaya konulmuş, şehrin tarihine az da olsa bir katkı sağlanmıştır.

In this study which is prepared as a master thesis,it is aimed to make known the problems of the foundations established over time, the changes in practice on charity and to make known also the debates on conditions that put forward by the founders of the foundation during the Ottoman period at the Ayıntâb province.Undoubtedly, the Ottoman provinces, the central and the state experienced in the overall political, military, social, economic and cultural fields can not be abstracted from the activities and discussions, can not be considered separately.In a sense this study, which is based on book printing types,carries the idea of analyising the foundations in the Ayıntâb province in XVII. and the second half of the XVIII. Century Thus in the work of Ottoman history, the general state of the foundations as a social institution about which less study was made than the other stages of a period perhaps because of lack of documentation, will be illuminated. this study can be seen as a contribution to the period which covers from the classical period of Ottoman institutions to modernization of the transition period applications. During this period,it can be said the foundation of Ottoman society was seen as a business occasion as in previous years we also frequently experience this state in examples of printing types which are our main source of research. . with this study the overall functioning and status of foundations established at ayıntab province at the end of XVII and early XIX. will be revealed and it will contribute to the history of the city.
