Suç mağduru olma korkusuna sosyolojik bir bakış(Ankara ili örneği)

Abstract

Suç mağduriyet korkusu kısaca; bireylerin suçtan zarar görme ve mağduriyet yaşama korkularını ifade etmektedir. Suç mağduriyet korkusunu etkileyen birçok faktör bulunmaktadır. Bu faktörlerden en önemlisi suçta meydana gelen artışlardır. Suçun artışı, suç mağduriyet korkusunu etkilese de suçta meydana gelen düşüşler, suç mağduriyet korkusunda aynı etkiyi göstermemektedir. Yani suçu etkileyen faktörler azalsa da suç mağduriyet korkusundaki etkileri devam edebilmektedir. Bunun en iyi örnekleri toplumu derinden etkileyen eylemler ve olaylardır. Bu eylemler toplum içerisindeki etkisini uzun süre hissettirmeye devam etmektedir. Çağımızın en büyük sorunlarından biri olan terör kavramı suçu ve suç mağduriyet korkusunu etkilemektedir. Terör eylemleri ve canlı bomba saldırıları toplumda kargaşa ve kaos oluşturmaktadır. Bu kaos ortamı suç mağduriyet korkusunu etkilemektedir. Terör eylemlerinin ne zaman nerede gerçekleşeceğinin bilinmemesi toplumdaki her bireyi potansiyel mağdur haline getirmektedir. Canlı intihar bombacılarının genellikle kalabalık alanları seçmesi, bireylerin kalabalık mekânlardan uzak durmasına ve kalabalık yerlere gitmekten korkmasına neden olmaktadır. Kalabalıklardan korkmak özellikle eylemlerin gerçekleştiği dönemlerde görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kişilerin suç mağduriyet korkusu yaşamasının nedenlerini anlamak ve bu korkunun terör eylemleri ve canlı bomba saldırıları arasındaki ilişkiyi açığa çıkarmaktır. Yapılan çalışmada bireylerin suç mağduriyet korkusunu ne ölçüde olduğu, suç mağduriyet korkusunun kadın ve erkeklere göre değişip değişmediği ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Terör eylemlerinin ve intihar saldırılarının suç mağduriyet korkusunu etkileyip etkilemediği ve kişilerin kalabalık ortamlara girmesinde bir değişim gözlenip gözlenmediği bulunmaya çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler ışığında literatürde mevcut teorilere suç mağduriyet korkusu bağlamında açıklık getirilmiştir. The Fear of crime describes the fear of suffering from crime and being a victim. There are a lot of factors that affect the fear of crime. The most important of these is the increase in crime. However the increase in crime affects the fear of crime, the decrease in crime doesn't have the same impact. In other words, although the factors that affect the crime decrease, the effects on the fear of crime can go on. The best examples of these are the actions and events which affect the community deeply. These actions go on affecting the community for a long time. The concept of terror, one of the biggest problems nowadays, affects crime and the fear of crime. Terrorist acts and livings bombs cause chaos in society. And this chaos affects the fear of crime. Because of the reason that nobody knows where the terrorist acts will happen, makes each person a possible victim. The reason that living bombers choose crowded places urges people to avoid going to crowded places. Especially when the terrorist acts happen, people avoid going such places. The aim of this study to understand the reasons of the fear of crime and to reveal the relation between this fear and the terrorist acts and living bombs. In this study, the amount of fear of crime of people and whether it changes according to gender is judged. Also, whether the terrorist acts and living bombs affect the fear of crime and whether there is a change about people's going to crowded places is tried to he studied. Thanks to obtained data, nsome new information about the fear of crime is added to the current theories in literatüre.
