Müzik ders kitaplarında yer alan eserlerin Unesco tarafından kabul edilen değerler çerçevesinde incelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı 5, 6, 7 ve 8.sınıflarda okutulan müzik dersi kitaplarında yer alan eserlerin UNESCO tarafından desteklenen "Yaşayan Değerler Programı" kapsamında kabul edilen 12 değer bakımından incelemektir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler doküman inceleme yolu ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada önce müzik ders kitaplarındaki eserler sınıflara göre kategorize edilmiş daha sonra ise eserlerin sözleri Yaşayan Değerler Programında yer alan 12 değere göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen toplam eser sayısı 162 olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, ortaokul (5-8) müzik ders kitaplarındaki eser sözlerinin UNESCO "Yaşayan Değerler" maddeleri içinde en çok aşk/sevgi, birlik, saygı değerlerine, an az ise işbirliği, sorumluluk, özgürlük, mutluluk, barış, dürüstlük, sadelik ve tevazu değerlerine yer verildiği gözlenmiştir. Hoşgörü değerine ise hiç yer verilmediği belirlenmiştir.

This study examines the works of music lesson books taught in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades of the 2018-2019 academic year, in terms of 12 values accepted within the extent of UNESCO that Supported by Living Values program. The Qualitative research approach was adopted. The data of the research was obtained through document analysis. Content analysis method was used in data analysis. Document analysis model was used in descriptive research types. In the research, firstly the works in Music textbooks were categorized according to the classes and then the words of the works were examined according to 12 values in the Living Values Program. The total number of works obtained from this study was determined as 162. As a result of the study, it was determined that the words of the works in the secondary school (5-8) music textbooks emphasized the values of love, unity and respect most among the UNESCO Living Values articles. The least used value among the works in the books are the values of simplicity, happiness and humility. In addition, it has been found that in the secondary school (5-8), activity songs of music lessons do not include the values of fault share, honesty and peace and some of the works do not contain any value.
