Prof. Dr. erafettin ERELNovember 2006 , 64 PagesSatellite communication systems were investigated, particularly,the processof digital satellite communications were concerned in this thesis. Advantages ofdigital broadcasts over analog broadcasts were investigated. Antennas systems in thesatellite communication were studied. The parameters effecting performance ofcommunication were formulated for paraboloid reflector and horn antennas and thesolution to some typical problems related to them were evaluated comparing theresults of solution using Matlab computer software.
