Arapçada kelimeler arası anlamsal farklar

Abstract

Arap dili kelime dağarcığı açısından zengin diller kategorisinde en üst sırada yerini almaktadır. Dili oluşturan yapı taşları harfler ve kelimelerdir, dile ait kelimelerin çeşitliliği o dilin kelime dağarcığı açısından zenginliğini gösterir. Bu sebeple çalışma, Arapçadaki kelime çeşitliliğini ortaya çıkarmak ve fark ettirmek adına yazılmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle eş anlamlılık "مُتَرَادِفٌ" ve yakın anlamlılık "مُتَقَارِبٌ" konuları ele alınmış, eski dönem ile modern dönem dil bilimcileri ve araştırmacılarının konuya yaklaşımlarına yer verilmiştir. Aynı zamanda, Kelimelerin Eş Anlamlı Olmama Sebepleri, Eş Anlamlılık Teoremini Ortaya Çıkaran Faktörler, Ebû Hilâl el-ʿAskerî'nin Kelimelere Yaklaşımındaki Metodu ve Eş anlamlı Kelimelerin Tercümeye etkisi gibi konu başlıkları yer almakta olup, Başlıca Dil Aileleri, Dillerin Yapısal Özellikleri, Dildeki Yakın Anlamlılık Kuramı, İsmâil Hakkı Bursevî'nin Kelime Tasnifindeki Üslûbu, Modern Dilbilimcilerin Konuya Yaklaşımları, Psikolog Elizabeth Loftus ve John Palmer'in Kelime Deneyi gibi konulara yer verilmiştir. Bunun yanında çalışmada farklı dönemlere ait olan Kitâbu'l-ʿAyn, Lisânu'l-ʿArab, Muʿcemu'l-ʿArabî el-Esâsî, Muḫtâru'ṣ-Ṣıḥaḥ, Ḳâmûsu'l Muḥît, Ḳâmûsu'l Muterâdifât ve'l Mutecânisât ve el-Muzhir gibi çeşitli eserlerden yararlanılmıştır. Son olarak, Arapçadaki eş anlamlı kelimeler incelenip aralarındaki farklara değinilmiştir.

The Arabic language ranks at the top category of languages in respect of richness in vocabulary. Letters and words are the structural components of any language, and the diversity of words in any language shows the richness of that language in terms of vocabulary. The study aimed therefore to demonstrate the word diversity in Arabic and attract focus on it. In the first place, the study sought to addresses the subjects of synonymy and the close meaning including the approaches of the linguists and researchers of ancient and modern periods. It includes headings such as Reasons of Non-synonymy in Words, Factors Revealing the Synonymy Theorem, the Method of Abu Hilâl-elAskerî in Approaching to Words, and the Effect of Synonymous Words on Translation with focus on subjects such as Major Language Families, Structural Characteristics of Languages, Proximate Significance Theory in Language, the Style of İsmail Hakkı Bursevi in Word Classification, the Approaches of Modern Linguists to the Subject, The Experiment of Psychologists Elizabeth Loftus and John Palmer on Words. The study drew on several works from diverse periods such as Kitâbu'l-ʿAyn, Lisânu'l-ʿArab, Muʿcemu'l-ʿArabî el-Esâsî, Muḫtâru'ṣ-Ṣıḥaḥ, Ḳâmûsu'l Muḥît, Ḳâmûsu'l Muterâdifât ve'l Mutecânisât and el-Muzhir. Finally, the study also examined the synonyms in Arabic, with a mention of the differences between them exemplified with various examples.
