Covid-19 döneminde müzik öğretmenlerinin müzik teknolojisi ile ilgili aldıkları dersleri kullanma durumları

Abstract

Ülkemizde ilk covid-19 vakası 2020 Mart ayında görülmüş ve ülke çapında pandemi ilan edilmiştir. Pandemi ilan edilmesi ile eğitim-öğretime ara verilmiş, öğretmen ve öğrenciler uzaktan eğitim ile evlerinden teknoloji yardımıyla derslere katılmışlar ve etkinliklerini evlerinden yönetmeye çalışmışlardır. Bu bağlamda tarihe geçen Covid 19 pandemisi her alanda olduğu gibi eğitim alanında da pek çok güçlüğü beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu süreçle ilgili yapılan tarihe kanıt niteliği taşıyan araştırmalardan biri olan bu araştırmada, müzik öğretmenlerinin, lisans eğitimlerinde öğrendikleri müzik teknolojileri ile ilgili bilgileri Covid-19 pandemisi nedeni ile zorunlu "uzaktan eğitim" sürecine aktarabilme durumlarının ve süreçte müzik teknolojilerinden nasıl yararlandıklarının ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırma, covid-19 sürecinde müzik öğretmenlerinin müzik teknolojileri alanına yönelik problemlerinin tespit edilmesi, müzik öğretmenlerinin bu alandaki eksikliğinin gözler önüne serilmesi ve ilgili bölümlerden mezun olan ya da mezun olacak müzik öğretmeni adaylarının müzik teknolojilerini Covid-19 pandemisine benzer durumlarda kullanabilmeleri, öğretmen ve öğretmen adaylarının daha donanımlı hale getirilmesi açılarından önem taşımaktadır. Nitel yaklaşımla durum çalışması deseninin kullanıldığı bu araştırma, nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden görüşme tekniğinin kullanıldığı, verilerin içerik analizi tekniği ile çözümlendiği betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada, amaçlı örneklem yoluyla seçilen özel bir eğitim kurumunun Ankara kampüslerinde çalışan 10 müzik öğretmeni ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, Covid-19 sürecinde müzik öğretmenlerinin lisans eğitiminde öğrendikleri bilgileri hatırlamadıkları ve uzaktan eğitimde senkron açısından sorun yaşadıkları, uzaktan eğitim sürecini sorun olarak değil çözüm süreci olarak nitelendirdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca Covid-19 sürecinde müzik öğretmenlerinin müzik teknolojilerine eşlik, nota öğretimi gibi farklı alanlar için ihtiyaç duydukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The first covid-19 case in our country was seen in March 2020 and a nationwide pandemic was declared. With the declaration of the pandemic, education was interrupted, teachers and students participated in classes with the help of technology from their homes with distance education and tried to manage their activities from their homes. In this context, the Covid-19 pandemic, which has gone down in history, has brought many difficulties in the field of education as well as in every field. In this research, which is one of the historical evidence for this process, it is aimed to reveal how music teachers can transfer the information about music technologies they learned in their undergraduate education to the compulsory "distance education" process due to the Covid-19 pandemic and how they benefit from music technologies in the process. This research is aimed at determining the problems of music teachers in the field of music technologies in the Covid-19 process, revealing the lack of music teachers in this field and the ability of music teacher candidates who have graduated or will graduate from related departments to use music technologies in situations similar to the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers and teacher candidates. It is important in terms of making the candidates better equipped. This research, in which case study design is used with a qualitative approach, is descriptive research in which the interview technique, one of the qualitative data collection techniques, is used and the data is analyzed with the content analysis technique. In the research, interviews were conducted with 10 music teachers working in Ankara campuses of a private educational institution selected through purposeful sampling. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that during the Covid-19 process, music teachers do not remember the information they learned in undergraduate education, and they have problems in terms of synchronization in distance education, and they describe the distance education process as a solution process, not a problem. In addition, it was concluded that during the Covid-19 process, music teachers needed music technologies for different fields such as accompaniment and note teaching.
