Dijital okuryazarlık bağlamında ortaokul Türkçe ders kitapları

Abstract

Değişen dünyamızda teknolojinin gelişimi sebebiyle dijital ortamlar ile daha çok etkileşim hâline girilmiştir ve dijital dünyayı anlamanın önemi artmıştır. Dört temel dil becerisini yansıttığımız dijital platformları etkili biçimde kullanmayı öğrenme ihtiyacı oluşmuştur. Bu ihtiyaç, dijital okuryazar kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Dijital okuryazarlık "dijital teknolojik araçları kullanarak bilgiye ulaşma ve bilgi üretme becerisi" olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Yaşanan teknolojik gelişmeler ve toplumsal yaşamda dijital platformların etkin biçimde kullanılması ile bu becerinin önemi fark edilmiştir. Dijital okuryazarlık becerilerin geliştirilmesinde konuşma, dinleme, okuma ve yazma dil becerilerinin etkili şekilde geliştirilmiş olması; toplum içinde kendini ana dilde ifade edebilen bireyin dijital ortamda da aynı beceriyi gösterebilmesi açısından önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı (2019) ve program çerçevesinde hazırlanan ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarını dijital okuryazarlık becerileri kapsamında incelemek ve sunmaktır. Araştırmanın yöntemi, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırmanın amaçları doğrultusunda ilgili alan yazın ve Dijital Okuryazarlık, Beceriler ve Hazırlık için Küresel Standartlar Çerçevesi (DQ Çerçevesi) kapsamında dijital okuryazarlık becerisi ile ilgili doküman inceleme maddeleri oluşturulmuştur. Program; içerik, kazanımlar; ders kitapları metinlere yönelik hazırlanmış etkinlikler yönlerinden incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarında Türkçe Öğretim Programı'nın içeriğinin dijital okuryazarlığa birçok alanda yer verdiği görülmüştür. Kazanımlarda, okuma becerisi ağırlıklı olmak üzere, tüm beceri alanlarında dijital okuryazarlığa yer verilmiştir. Ders kitapları incelendiğinde, dijital okuryazarlık ile ilişkili kazanım sayısının çokluğuna rağmen etkinlik sayısı azdır. Dijital okuryazarlığa en az yer veren, %2,34'lük oranıyla, 7. sınıf; en fazla %5,2'lik oranıyla 5.sınıf ders kitabıdır. Teknolojinin ve dijital dünyanın gelişimini takip etmek eğitim için önemli bir yere sahiptir. Öğrencileri dijital okuryazar bireyler olarak yetiştirmek için eğitim materyalleri geliştirmeli ve yenilenmelidir. Genel olarak Türkçe Öğretim Programı'nda dijital okuryazarlığa yoğun bir şekilde yer verildiği, ders kitaplarında bu yoğunluğun kısmen daha az olduğu tespit edilmiştir. In our changing world, there has been more interaction with the development of technology and digital environments. The importance of understanding the digital world has increased. There has been a need to learn to use digital platforms effectively, where we reflect our four basic language skills. This need has revealed the concept of digital literacy. Digital literacy is defined as "the ability to reach and produce information using digital technological tools". The importance of this skill has emerged with the developing technology and the effective use of digital platforms in social and social life. It is important that the speaking, listening, reading and writing language skills are developed effectively in the development of digital literacy skills, so that the individual who can express himself in the community in the mother tongue can show the same skill in the digital environment. Turkish lesson is also important in terms of developing this skill. The aim of this study is to examine and present the Turkish Language Curriculum (2019) and the secondary school Turkish textbooks prepared within the framework of the program within the scope of digital literacy skills. The method of the research is case study, one of the qualitative research methods. For the purposes of the research, related literature and document review items related to digital literacy skills were created within the scope of the Global Standards Framework for Digital Literacy, Skills and Readiness (DQ Framework). Program content, achievements; The activities prepared for the texts in the textbooks were examined in terms of their aspects. In the results of the research, it was seen that the content of the Turkish Curriculum included digital literacy in many areas. In the learning outcomes, all skill areas, especially reading skills, are included. When the textbooks are examined, the number of activities is low despite the large number of achievements related to digital literacy. It is the 7th grade textbook with a rate of 2.34% that includes digital literacy the least, and it is a 5th grade textbook with a maximum rate of 5.2%. It has an important place to follow the development of technology and the digital world. In education in this field, we should develop and renew educational materials in order to raise students as digitally literate individuals. In general, it has been determined that digital literacy is heavily included in the Turkish Curriculum, and this density is partially in the textbooks.
