Self efficacy levels of classroom teachers on using internet for educational purposes
Özet
This survey type study was set out to explore Internet usage of primary level classroom teachers in line with some pre-determined variables. The participants of the study were 111 classroom teachers employed at a city in central Anatolia. The data were collected by means of 'Self Efficacy Scale for Internet Use' developed by Sahin (2009). Independent samples t-test, one-way Anova, Kruskal Wallis, and Mann Whitney-U tests were utilized to analyze the data. The findings pointed out that while Internet usages of participants varied in terms of Professional experience and educational background, no variation was observed on gender, purpose, duration, and background experience of Professional Internet use, The variation was observed in favour of those having Master's degreesand working in their first five years of teaching.
