Pedagojik Formasyon Programı Öğrencilerinin Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutumları

Abstract

Fen-edebiyat fakültesi öğrencilerine öğretmenlik bilgi ve becerisi kazandırmak amacıyla pedagojik formasyon dersleri 2010-2011 öğretim yılından itibaren tekrar verilmeye başlamıştır. Böylece öğretmen yetiştirmede iki kaynak oluşmuş ve bu durum da çeşitli tartışmalara yol açmıştır. Bu tartışma konularından biri de Fen-edebiyat fakültesi öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarıdır. Araştırmanın amacı, bu konudaki tartışmalara paralel olarak fen-edebiyat fakültesi öğrencilerinin öğrenim basamağı, cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen bölüm, mezun olunan lise, üniversiteye gelmeden önce yaşanılan yerleşim birimi ve üniversite tercihinde eğitim fakültesinin yer alması veya almaması gibi değişkenler ve 35 önermelik “Öğretmenlik Mesleği Tutum Ölçeği” ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2010–2011 öğretim yılı güz döneminde pedagojik formasyon dersleri alan 214 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Yapılan istatistiksel analizlerde öğrenci tutumlarının çeşitli değişkenlerde farklılaştığını saptanmıştır.

Pedagogical skills subjects have started to given to the students at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences again in order to gain the teaching knowledge and skills since 2010-2011 education years. Thus, two resources have been appeared and this has led to various discussions. One of the topics for discussion is the attitudes of students at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences towards the teaching profession. In this context, this research was done to provide scientific data to these discussions. Faculty of Arts and Sciences students‘ step of learning, gender, education department, graduated high school, residence before coming to the university and choosing the education faculty at his/her university choices or not and such variables like this and including 38 proposals “ Teaching Profession Attitude Scale“ with attitudes towards teaching profession were determined.
