Abstract

Önemli bir tarihi mirasa sahip olan Bolu, en eski tarihliden başlamak üzere oldukça zenginşer’iyye sicillerine sahiptir. Özellikle Şer’iyyesicillerinde yer alan tereke kayıtları şehrin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısının ortaya çıkarılmasında araştırmacılara büyük ölçüde kolaylık sağlamaktadır.Bu kayıtlarda Ölen bir kimsenin geride bıraktığı her türlü menkul ve gayr-ı menkul eşyanın yanı sıra alacak ve borçlarını ihtiva eden bilgilere yer vermesi o dönem toplumunun ekonomik durumunun aydınlatılması noktasında önemli bir referans olmaktadır.Vereselerin tek tek isimlerinin belirtilmesi dönemin nüfus yapısı ve sayısı konusunda da önemli ip uçları vermektedir.Bu çalışmada 1699-1718 yılları arasında tereke kayıtları esas alınarak Bolu’da yatırım aracı olarak gördüğümüz (gayr-ı menkul, hayvancılık, altın ve gümüş, kölelik ve ağaç işleri) gibi konular tek tek ortaya konularak anılan tarihlerde halkın ekonomik tercihlerinin neler olduğu izah edilmeye çalışılmıştır

As having a valuable historical heritage, Bolu possesses a variety of şerriyerecordsets (minutes)beginning from the very old one. Especially, the tereke minutes taking place in Şeri‘yyerecordsets provides the researchers with a clear vision towards the economical and social structure of the city. The details in these recordsets were included all possessings, credits and loans of the passed away one which should be considered as a vital point to envisage the financial climate of the period. The details about the inheritors also help the researchers to clarify the structural and mathematical traits of the population. This study aims to purport the fiscal preferences of the society lived in Boluneighbourhood during the years of 1699-1718 by elaborating on the investment tools such as properties, herds, gold, and silver stated in the inheritance recordsets.
