Hüseyin Yurttaş'ın çocuk kitaplarının çocuk edebiyatı yapıtlarında bulunması gereken özellikler açısından incelenmesi

Bu çalışmada, Hüseyin Yurttaş'ın çocuk kitapları, çocuk edebiyatı yapıtlarında bulunması gereken özellikler açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Hüseyin Yurttaş'ın çocuk kitapları arasından rastlantısal yöntemle belirlenen 15 hikâye kitabı içerisinde yer alan 23 hikâye oluşturmaktadır. Rastlantısal örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen hikâyelerin incelenmesinde nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Örneklemi oluşturan çocuk kitapları öncelikle, tasarım özellikleri ve resim, konu ve kurgu, tema, ileti, karakter, çevre, dil ve anlatım başlıkları doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. İkinci aşamada "Çocuklara Seslenen Yazınsal ya da Öğretici Kitapları Değerlendirme Ölçeği" kullanılarak elde edilen bulgular, sayısal verilere dönüştürülmüştür. Veri analizinin üçüncü aşamasında ise örneklemi oluşturan tüm kitaplar, ölçeği oluşturan sekiz ana bölüm esas alınarak genel değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Değerlendirmeler sonucunda, Hüseyin Yurttaş'ın kitaplarının genel olarak "çok iyi" düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hikâyeler tasarım ve resim özellikleri açısından incelendiğinde, resimlemelerde renk unsurunun psikolojik etkisinden faydalanılmadığı, ciltleme ve kâğıt kullanımından kaynaklı bazı sorunların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu eksikliklerin yayınevlerinden kaynaklı sıkıntılar olduğu belirlenmiştir. İçerik açısından bakıldığında ise hikâyelerde çocukların düzeyine uygun konuların işlendiği, bunların da özgün ve tutarlı bir şekilde kurgulandığı belirlenmiştir. Çocukların özdeşim kurabileceği karakterler geliştirildiği, onların kişilik gelişimlerini kuvvetlendirecek iletiler sunulduğu görülmüştür. Temaların sevgi üzerine yapılandırıldığı, insana ve doğaya özgü durumların yansıtıldığı, Türkçenin anlatım gücü ve olanaklarının çocuğun dilsel düzeyine uygun olarak kullanıldığı, hikâyelerde çocuğun örnek alabileceği bir dil ve anlatım çerçevesinin oluşturulduğu belirlenmiştir. In this study, the children's books of Hüseyin Yurttaş were examined in terms of the features required in the works of children's literature. The sample of the study consists of 15 story books which are determined by random method among the children's books of Hüseyin Yurttaş and 23 stories found in these story books. Screening model and document analysis technique which are among the qualitative research methods were used in the analysis of selected stories by random sampling method. The children's books that make up the sample were first examined in terms of design features and painting, subject and fiction, theme, message, character, environment, language and expression. In the second stage, the findings obtained by using 'the Scale for the Evaluation of the Literary or Instructional Books Called Children', were converted to numerical data. In the third stage of the data analysis, all the books that make up the sample were subjected to a general evaluation based on the eight main sections of the scale. As a result of the evaluations: Hüseyin Yurttaş's books were generally 'very good' level. When the stories were evaluated in terms of design and painting features, it was determined that the psychological effect of the color element was not used in illustrations and some problems due to the use of binding and paper. These deficiencies have been identified as problems caused by publishing houses. In terms of content, it has been determined that the stories are suitable for children's level and these are constructed in a unique and consistent manner. It has been seen that characters are formed in which children can identify, and messages are presented to strengthen their personality development. It is determined that the themes are structured on love, reflecting the conditions specific to man and nature; the power of expression and the possibilities of Turkish are using in accordance with the linguistic level of the child, the story forms a language and narrative frame that the child can take as an example.
