Tarihi perspektiften Türk tiyatrosunda savaş olgusu (1912'den günümüze kadar)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 1912'den günümüze kadar yazılmış olan piyeslerdeki savaş ve savaşla ilgili unsurlar tarihi veriler esas alınarak incelenmiştir. İncelemede piyes yazarlarının savaşa olan ilgileri, bakış açıları, izledikleri yol/yöntem ve amaç tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan ön araştırmada Türk edebiyatında savaş olgusu etrafında yazılmış dört yüzden fazla piyes olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Piyes sayısını azaltarak bir örneklem oluşturabilmek için Türk tarihini doğrudan ilgilendirmeyen savaşlar çalışmanın kapsamı dışında tutulmuştur. İncelenen piyeslerin büyük bir çoğunluğunun hamasi bir tutum ve ideolojik kaygılarla kaleme alındığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunun sebeplerini tespit etmek amacıyla iktidarların sürdürmüş oldukları siyasi, ekonomik ve kültürel politikalar araştırılmıştır. Araştırma neticesinde, iktidarların tiyatro oyunları üzerinden ideolojilerini sürdürmek ve yaymak istedikleri görülmektedir. Savaşla ilgili piyeslerin bu denli iktidarların gözetim ve etkisi altında olması savaşın yapısından kaynaklanmaktadır. Savaş, bir toplumun tamamını doğrudan veya dolaylı bir şekilde etkilediği için bir ülke içinde yaşayan tüm vatandaşların ortak bir problemidir. Özellikle söz konusu vatan savunması olduğunda, ülke içinde yaşayan herkes hangi inanç ve görüşten olursa olsun bunları bir kenara bırakarak önceliklerini değiştirir. Toplumu bir arada tutmak, üzüntü ve mutlulukta ortaklık oluşturmak isteyen iktidarlar bu sebepten savaş olgusuna büyük bir önem vermişlerdir. Savaş, topluma geçmiş zaferlerini hatırlatarak moral vermiş, mağlubiyetlerini hatırlatarak ders vermiştir. Piyesler de geçmişi hatırlatmakta bir aracı olarak kullanılmış bazen de sürmekte olan savaşların sosyal zeminini oluşturmak maksadıyla kullanılmıştır. In this study, the war and the elements related to the war in the plays written from 1912 to the present are examined on the basis of historical data. In this study, the interest of the playwrights to the war, their perspectives, the path / method and the purpose they have tried to determine were aimed. In the preliminary research, more than four hundred plays were written around the phenomenon of war in Turkish literature. In order to create a sample by reducing the number of plays, wars that do not directly concern Turkish history were excluded from the study. It was found that the majority of the plays were written with a patronistic attitude and ideological concerns. In order to determine the reasons of this, political, economic and cultural policies of the governments have been investigated. As a result of the research, it is seen that the governments want to maintain and spread their ideologies through the plays. The fact that war-related plays are under the supervision and influence of such powers stems from the structure of the war. War is a common problem of all citizens living in a country because it affects directly or indirectly the entire society. Especially when it comes to homeland defense, everyone living in the country changes their priorities, regardless of their beliefs and opinions. For this reason, the powers that want to keep society together and to form a partnership in sadness and happiness have given great importance to the phenomenon of war. The war gave morale to society by recalling its past victories, and gave lessons by recalling their defeats. The plays were also used as a mediator to remind the past and sometimes were used to create the social basis of the ongoing wars. Keywords: War literature, Ideology, Turkish theatre
