Gençlik ve değerleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, gençliği sosyolojik olarak değerler ve yaşadıkları problemler çerçevesinde irdelemektir. Bu doğrultuda, çalışmada gençlik grubunun toplumsal açıdan önemi ve kendilerine özgü nitelikleri hakkında genel bilgiler sunulmuştur. Sonrasında, toplumlar için son derece önemli olan değerler kapsamında, gençlik ve değer ilişkisi ele alınmıştır. Kuşak çatışmasına yer verilmiştir. Toplumların geleceği olan gençler söz konusu olduğunda, onların yaşadıkları problemleri göz ardı etmek mümkün değildir. Bu nedenle, temel problemler olarak nitelendirebileceğimiz gençlik problemleri çalışma kapsamına dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma, uluslar arası gençlik istatistikleri ile karşılaştırmalı olarak yapılmıştır. Dünya ölçeğinde, işsizlik, yoksulluk, çocuk yaşta evlilikler, eğitim problemleri, engellilik, intihar, suç, şiddet, zararlı madde kullanımı ve iletişim araçlarına bağımlılık konularında gençlik problemleri ele alınmıştır. The main aim of this study is to investigate youth sociologically within the framework of values and problems. In this respect, the social importance of youth and characteristics which are peculiar to them have been presented in the study. Then, within the values which are critical for societies, the relation between youth and values has been analyzed. The conflict between generations has also been included. When it comes to the youth who are the future of a society, it is impossible to disregard their problems. Therefore, the youth problems which can be classified as fundamental ones have been included in the study. The research has been conducted in comparison with international youth statistics. Youth problems throughout the world have been analyzed considering topics about unemployment, poverty, child marriage, education problems, disability, suicide, crime and violence, use of noxious substances, and dependency on communication tools.
