Lojistik merkezlerin kentsel lojistik uygulamalarına etkileri: Çorum ili uygulaması

Abstract

Müşteriler, alışveriş faaliyetlerinde hem çevrimiçi hem de çevrimdışı yöntemler kullandıkları çok kanallı bir ortamda yaşamaktadır. Buna bağlı olarak, tüketicilere yapılan teslimatın artması, verimlilik ve sürdürülebilirlik açısından kentsel yük sistemlerine iyice dar boğaza sokmaktadır. Lojistik hizmet sağlayıcılarının kentsel alandaki faaliyetlerini optimize etmek ve geliştirmek amacıyla birçok önlemler almaktadırlar. Bu önlemlerden en önemlilerinden birisi kent merkezlerine yakın lojistik merkezleri kurulması ve bu merkezlerin etkin bir şekilde kullanılmasıdır. Şehir merkezlerinde yük trafiğinin artması, hava kirliliğinin sürekli artması, arazi kullanımındaki dengesizlik ve kaliteli yaşam standartlarının düşmesi, merkezi ve yerel yöneticileri ve bireyleri, yük akışı sorununu azaltmak için alternatif lojistik çözümler aramaya yöneltmiştir. Lojistik merkezler, müşteri odaklı taşımacılık sistemleri, kapıdan kapıya pratik yöntemlerle verimli ve düşük maliyetli bir şekilde kullanılması için farklı taşıma yöntemlerinin optimum entegrasyonunu geliştirerek çevresel ve sosyo-ekonomik sürdürülebilirliği sağlamada önemli bir paya sahiptir. Taşıma işleri operatörleri arasında rekabet, etkin bir lojistik merkez yapısı, stratejik ticari hedeflere ulaşarak pazarda kayda değer bir kâr ve yatırım getirisinin yanı sıra pazarda kayda değer bir rekabet avantajına yol açmaktadır. Konum belirleme ve araç takip sistemleri, kentsel yük taşıma sistemlerinin verimliliğinin arttırılmasında ve göreceli yeterli tedarik zinciri faaliyetlerinin başlatılmasında kilit bir etmendir. Bundan dolayı, yetkili makamlar, lojistik merkez yapılmadan önce, bu konunun önemini herhangi bir kararla, güçlü ekonomik, sosyal ve çevresel etkiler açısından değerlendirmelidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Çorum ili ve çevresinde var olan lojistik merkezin kentsel lojistik uygulamalarına etkilerini araştırmaktır. Var olan kentsel lojistik sorunlarının tespiti ve çözüm önerileri sunulacaktır.

Customers live in a multi-channel environment in which they use both online and offline methods of shopping. Consequently, the increase in delivery to consumers has been putting the urban load systems in a narrow strait in terms of efficiency and sustainability. They take many measures to optimize and improve the activities of the logistics service providers in the urban area. One of the most important of these measures is the establishment of logistics centers close to the city centers and the efficient use of these centers. Increased freight traffic in city centers, continuous increase in air pollution, imbalance in land use and reduced quality of living standards have led central and local managers and individuals to look for alternative logistics solutions to reduce the load flow problem. Logistics centers have an important share in ensuring environmental and socio-economic sustainability by improving the optimal integration of different transport methods for the efficient and low-cost use of the transportation system with customer-oriented, door-to-door practical methods. Competitiveness among transport operators, an efficient logistics center structure, achieving strategic commercial objectives, leads to a considerable profit and return on investment in the market as well as a considerable competitive advantage in the marketplace. Positioning and vehicle tracking systems are a key factor in increasing the efficiency of urban freight transport systems and in initiating relatively adequate supply chain activities. Therefore, before the logistical center is established, the authorities should consider the importance of this issue in terms of strong economic, social and environmental impacts by any decision. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the existing logistics center on urban logistics practices in and around Çorum. Identification of existing urban logistics problems and solutions will be presented.
