Özel eğitim ve öğretim kurumları yönetimi

Abstract

Eğitim ve öğretim, insanların en temel sosyal ihtiyaçları arasındadır. Tarih boyunca devletler, eğitim ve öğretim kurumları aracılığıyla çocuklarını geleceğe hazırlama azminde olmuşlardır. Bir devletin geleceği ve güvenliği ile ilgili olması sebebiyle, eğitim ve öğretim daima devletlerin yasal düzenlemeleri ile belirlenmiştir. Fakat devletlerin artan talepleri ve beklentileri karşılamada yetersiz kalmaları, bu hizmetin özel sektör eliyle verilmesi sonucunu doğurmuştur. Günümüzde özel eğitim ve öğretim kurumları, devletlerin yasal denetim ve yönlendirmeleri ışığında faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedirler. Türkiye'de devlet okullarına oranla küçük bir sayıda olan özel eğitim ve öğretim kurumları, bulundukları sektörde rekabet edebilmek için modern yönetim tekniklerini kullanmak durumundadırlar. Bu tekniklerden özellikle toplam kalite yönetimi, stratejik planlama ve insan kaynakları yönetimi, eğitim ve öğretim kurumları için hayati önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de özel eğitim ve öğretim kurumlarının tarihi gelişimini ele alarak, yönetim anlayışlarında uygulamaları öngörülen modern yönetim tekniklerini incelemektedir.

Training and education are among the most basic social needs of people. Throughout history, states have paid tremendous effort on preparing children for the future, through educational institutions. Due to future and safety of nations, education and training is always determined by the legal regulations of states. Since states have remained insufficient to meet the increasing demands and expectations of people, the private sector also has been providing education service.Today, private educational institutions keep providing their activities in the light of legal supervision and guidance of states. Compared with private educational institutions, the state schools in world and in Turkey as well are extremely small in number. However, these firms, to compete in their sector are obliged to use modern management techniques to compete with other undertakings . In particular, total quality management, strategic planning and human resources management is vital to The Private Educational Institutions in this study, by examing the historical development of Private Education Institutions in Turkey, aspects of modern management techniques provided for management have been analyzed.
