Fârâbî'nin El-Cem' Beyne Re'yeyi'l-Hakîmeyn adlı eserinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Uzlaştırma geleneği sadece İslam Felsefesi için değil, Ortaçağ'da ve öncesinde farklı amaç ve gerekçelerle tercih edilen felsefi bir yöntemdir. Birçok filozofu bu yöntemi kullanarak hakikatin tek olduğu bilgisini tüm felsefi sistemlerine işlemiş vaziyette buluyoruz. İskenderiyeli Climacus, Plotinus, St. Augustinus, Thomas Aquinas, Boethius, veya İbn Sîna, Mir Damad, Molla Sadra ve diğerleri… Uzlaştırma felsefesinin asıl hedefi birleştirici üslubuyla tüm bilgi verilerinin tek bir gerçeğe hizmet ettiği düşüncesidir. Fârâbî'nin metotunda bu birleştirici usul sadece yorumlama tarzında değil, felsefenin temel taşları olan Eflâtun ve Aristoteles'in görüşlerinin birleştirilmesi olarak da kendini bulur. Fârâbî, El-Cem'de Eflâtun ve Aristoteles'in aralarında ihtilaf olduğu sanılan on üç konuyu onların görüşlerini uzlaştırmak üzere ele alır. İki filozofun görüşlerini yine kendi kaynaklarından ele alıp bir noktada birleştirir. Çelişki olarak görülen mevzuların yanlış anlaşıldıklarını ortaya koyar. Fârâbî bu yanlış anlaşılmanın bazen filozofların kastettiklerini anlayamamaktan veya onları düzgün yorumlayamamaktan bazen de hatalı düşünmekten kaynaklandığını vurgular. Bu çalışmanın gayesi ise Fârâbî'nin uzlaştırmacı felsefesinin tezahürü olan El-Cem' Beyne Re'yeyi'l-Hakîmeyn adlı eserinde onun Eflâtun ve Aristoteles'in görüşlerini uzlaştırdığı konular üzerinden birleştirici tutumunu incelemek ve bunu El-Cem' üzerindeki konularla sınırlandırarak yapmaktır. The tradition of reconciliation is a philosophical method that is preferred as different purpose and reasons not only for Islamic Philosophy, but also for medieval and earlier times. We find that many philosophers use this method their all philosophical systems that there is only one truth. Alexander Climacus, Plotinus, St. Augustinus, Thomas Aquinas, Boethius, or Avicenna, Mir Damad, Molla Sadra, and others... The main goal of the reconciliation philosophy is a thought that all information is serving a one truth in unifying style. In the system of Al Farabi, this unifying method is found not only in his way of interpretation but also merging of views from main stones of philosophy: Plato and Aristotle. In Al-Jam, Al Farabi handle thirteen subjects to aim of reconcile views of Plato and Aristotle which are thought to be disputes between them. He takes the views of two philosophers from their sources and combines them into one point. He clarifies misunderstandings of the subjects which seen as contradictions. Al Farabi emphasizes that this misunderstandings based on some cannot understand what is philosophers meaning or cannot interpret correctly their views or because of thinking wrong. The aim of this work is to examine the unifying attitude of Al-Jam' Bayna Ra'yay al-Hakimayn, which is the manifestation of Al Farabi's mediatorial philosophy, over the issues he reconciled to the views of Plato and Aristotle and to limit this to the subjects on Al-Jam.
