Türkiye'de feminizm düşüncesinin imkanı

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, bir dünya görüşü olarak feminizmi tanımlamak, onu kapsayan görüş ve yaklaşımların ne olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Bu bağlamda feminist hareketin kadın hak ve özgürlüklerine sunduğu katkıları detaylı bir biçimde açığa çıkarmak ve modern Türkiye'deki mevcut durumun, kadının statüsünü nasıl yükselttiğine, kadının hak ve özgürlüklerinin evrensel standartlara erişmesinde nasıl etkin rol oynadığına, feminist siyaset ve ideolojiye ne oranda imkân tanıdığına dikkatleri çekmektir. Batılı ülkelerde tarihsel birikime paralel olarak gelişen kadın hakları savunuculuğu, sivil toplum kavramının gelişimi ve aydınlanmacı görüşlerin yarattığı ortamda, kadın hak ve özgürlüklerinin erkekle eşitlik temelinde olması gerektiği iddiasında bulunmuş ve buna uygun politikayla ilk olarak tarih sahnesinde yerini almıştır. Bu çalışmada konu içeriğini ihtiva eden çeşitli alt başlıklar bulunmaktadır. Bu başlıkların ilkinde, Sanayi devrimi ve Fransız ihtilali gibi çalkantılı dönemlerden geçerek yerleşmiş yeni burjuva toplum dinamikleri değerlendirilmiş, kadının kendini ötelenmiş hissetmesinin getirdiği yabancılaşma duygusuna vurgu yapılmış ve özgürlükçü fikirlerle birlikte harmanlanan kadın hareketinin ürettiği ideoloji ve siyaset, tarihsel süreç içinde açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci alt başlıkta Türkiye'deki kadın hareketinin genel bir tarihçesi çıkarılmış, modernleşen Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kadın hak ve özgürlük bağlamında ortaya koyduğu uygulamaların neler olduğu ve içerikleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca bu uygulamaların kadının statüsünde ne oranda bir dönüşüm yarattığına, kadın hak ve özgürlükleri için elverişli bir ortam hazırlayıp hazırlamadığına bakılmıştır. Öte yandan, kadın hak ve özgürlüklerini koruma altına alan bir takım uluslararası sözleşmeler mevcuttur. Türkiye bu sözleşmelere taraf olmakla birlikte, bu sözleşmelerin uyarlanması yönünde ulusal düzeyde nasıl mekanizmalar oluşturmuş ve bu mekanizmaların Türkiye'deki kadınların geneli açısından kapsayıcılığı nedir sorularına tarafsızca yanıt aranması ihtiyacı da bu çalışmanın bir başka araştırma alanını oluşturmuştur.

The aim of this thesis is to define feminism as a worldview, what reveals that the views and approach covering feminist movements, women's rights and in the context of freedom offered by the contributions turned its face to modernization by revealing in detail the current situation in Turkey, raising the status of women, the rights of women and freedom of open universal standards that have assumed an active role in the area of feminist ideology in politics and to what extent access, opportunity is to draw attention to the familiar.
