Dr. Hilmi Malik Evrenol'un hayatı ve eserleri

Abstract

Tez çalışmamızda; Dr. Hilmi Malik Evrenol'un, Cumhuriyet Devrimlerinin halka benimsetilmesi ve cumhuriyetçi yurttaşlar yetiştirebilme projesinde katkısı ve yeri; psikolog-pedagog, ideolog-eğitimci, kısası "uzman" sıfatı ile vermiş olduğu eserleri ve çalışmaları merkeze alınarak incelenmiştir. Bu projeye dolaylı ve direkt olarak sağladığı politik, kültürel ve pedagojik katkılara işaret edilmiştir. Dr. Hilmi Malik Evrenol'un; çeşitli meselelere dair kaleme almış olduğu hemen her çalışmasında "İnkılâp Prensiplerini" kendi "ulusuna" aşılamayı "misyon" edinmiş bir "inkılapçı cumhuriyet aydını" olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Bu vesile ile Cumhuriyeti kuran irade ve kadronun nasıl bir "aydın tipini" arzuladığı ve desteklediği ortaya koyulmuştur. Cumhuriyetçilerin toplumsal yapıyı dönüştürürken "Cumhuriyet Aydını" ile yaptıkları işbirliği incelenmiştir. Toplumu yeniden yapılandırma çalışmaları ile inşa edilmeye gayret edilen "Modern Türkiye Cumhuriyeti" projesine kalemi ile katkı sunan ve karakteristik bir "inkılâpçı Cumhuriyet aydını" tipini yansıtan Hilmi Malik Evrenol'un eserlerinde, cumhuriyet dönemi devrimlerinin izahının sağlanması (determination) ve devrimlerin "yurttaşlara" benimsetilmesinin öncelenmiş/hedeflenmiş olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca Tezimizde "Modern Türkiye Cumhuriyeti" projesinin ve yurttaş profilinin hangi değerler sistemi ile kuşatılıp beslendiği de ortaya koyulmuştur. Buradan hareket ile Cumhuriyeti kuran irade ve kadronun toplumu şekillendirirken "aydın kesimi" hangi istikamette "işe koştuğu" analiz edilmiştir. Hilmi Malik Bey'in eserlerini kuşatmış "değerler sisteminin" Türk İnkılâbını gerçekleştirmiş olan iktidar ile hep imtizaç içinde, senkronize uyum ve bütünleşmiş bir "işbirliği" içinde olduğu görülmüştür. Bu uyum ve işbirliği tespitinden hareketle bu durumun, "İnkılâpçı Cumhuriyet Aydınının" tipolojik bir özelliği olmak üzere, iktidara bağlaşık ve muttasıl, yani bir anlamda "güdümlü" bir toplumsal kategori olarak doğmuş olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Buradan hareketle ülkemizde modernleşmenin başlatıcıları konumunda olan "Osmanlı Münevverlerinin" karakteristik özellikleri ile de mukayese edilince "Batıcı aydın geleneği" ile "İnkılâpçı Cumhuriyet Aydınının" tarihsel bir sürekliliği temsil etmiş oldukları müşahede edilmiştir. Her iki tarihsel kategorinin referansı da gayri-İslami "kültür evreni" içinde yer alan "Batı" olmuştur. Ayrıca tüm felsefi referansını Batı'dan almış "inkılâpçı cumhuriyet aydınının", Batı'daki ontolojik kökeni itibariyle, iktidara mesafeli ve her daim eleştirel bir mevkide bulunan Intellektuelle ya da Intelligentsia ile bu "muhalif damar" kıstasına göre kültür-genetik akrabalıklarının mevcut olmadığı kanaati hâsıl olmuştur.
