Piyometralı köpeklerin adenozin deaminaz aktivitesi ve bazı biyokimyasal parametrelerle karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Sunulan çalışmanın amacı; piyometralı köpeklerin uterus içeriğinin Adenozin Deaminaz Aktivitesi'ni (ADA) belirlemek ve bazı biyokimyasal parametrelerle (albumin, alanin aminotransferaz (ALT), alkalen fosfataz (ALP), aspartat aminotransferaz (AST), glukoz, kreatinin, total bilirubin, total protein, üre) karşılaştırmaktır. Çalışmanın materyalini, klinik ve ultrasonografik muayene ile piyometra tanısı konulan değişik yaş ve ırklardaki 7 köpek oluşturdu. Anamnez ve muayene bilgileri kayıt altına alındıktan sonra operasyon öncesi anılan biyokimyasal parametreleri ve tam kan bulgularını saptamak amacıyla antikoagulanlı ve antikoagulansız tüplere kan alındı. Antikoagulanlı tüpe alınan kandan hemogram cihazıyla tam kan bulguları belirlenirken, diğer tüpteki kandan serum çıkarılarak biyokimyasal analizler yapıldı. Uterus içeriğindeki ADA fotometrik yöntemle saptandı. Ovariohisterektomi operasyonundan 7 gün sonra tekrar kan alınarak aynı serum biyokimya ve kan parametreleri değerlendirildi. Operasyon öncesi serum albumin, ALT, ALP, AST, glukoz, kreatinin, total bilirubin, total protein, üre seviyeleri sırasıyla ortalama 3.4 g/dl, 67.1 U/I, 48.9 U/I, 51.9 U/I, 98.4 mg/dl, 0.9 mg/dl, 0.2 mg/dl, 6.4 g/dl, 29.66 mg/dl olarak belirlendi. Bu değerler operasyon sonrası sırasıyla ortalama 3.33 g/dl, 67.14 U/I, 51.14 U/I, 48.86 U/I, 98.86 mg/dl, 0.79 mg/dl, 0.29 mg/dl, 6.47 g/dl, 23.67 mg/dl olarak saptandı. Operasyon öncesi ve sonrası elde edilen bulguların istatistiksel karşılaştırılmasında lökosit, nötrofil, monosit, % nötrofil, % lenfosit, % eozinofil, % bazofil, hemoglobin, hematokrit, trombosit ve kırmızı hücre dağılım genişliği değerlerindeki değişim istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunurken (p<0.05), diğer parametrelerde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farka rastlanmamıştır (p>0.05). Uterus içeriğinde ortalama ADA 27.16 U/l olarak belirlendi. ADA ile ALP (r:0.815, p:0.026), % bazofil (r:0.777, p:0.040) ve trombosit (r:0.853, p:0.015) arasında pozitif yönlü korelasyon saptanmıştır. Çalışmanın bulgularıyla piyometralı köpeklerin uterus akıntılarındaki ADA ilk kez belirlenmiş ve bazı parametrelerle ilişkisi ortaya konulmuştur. Piyometralı köpeklerin uterus içeriğinin ADA seviyesine bakılarak genel sağlık durumu hakkında bilgi sahibi olunamayacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca piyometralı köpeklerin bazı serum biyokimya ve kan parametre verilerine katkıda bulunulmuştur. The aim of the study was to determine Adenosine Deaminase Activity (ADA) of the uterine discharge of bitches with pyometra and compare with some biochemical parameters (albumin, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), glucose, creatinine, total bilirubin, total protein). The material of the study consisted of 7 dogs of different ages and breeds diagnosed with pyometra by clinical and ultrasonographic examinations. After anamnesis and examination information were recorded, blood samples were collected into tubes with and without anticoagulation in order to determine the biochemical parameters and whole blood findings mentioned before the operation. While the whole blood findings were determined from the blood sample taken from the anticoagulated tube by hemogram device, biochemical analyses were performed by collected serum from the blood in the other tube. ADA in the uterus discharge. Content was determined by photometric method. Seven days after the ovariohysterectomy operation, blood samples were collected again, and the same serum biochemistry and blood parameters were evaluated. Before the operation, average serum albumin, ALT, ALP, AST, glucose, creatinine, total bilirubin, total protein, urea levels were determined as 3.4 g/dl, 67.1 U/I, 48.9 U/I, 51.9 U/I, 98.4 mg/dl, 0.9 mg/dl, 0.2 mg/dl, 6.4 g/dl, 29.66 mg/dl respectively. Post of average levels of these paremeters were determined as 3.33 g/dl, 67.14 U/I, 51.14 U/I, 48.86 U/I, 98.86 mg/dl, 0.79 mg/dl, 0.29 mg/dl, 6.47 g/dl, 23.67 mg/dl, respectively. Difference between pre-operative and post-operative levels of leukocyte, neutrophil, monocyte, neutrophil, % lymphocyte, % eosinophil, % basophil, haemoglobin, haematocrit, platelet and red cell distribution determined statistically significant (p<0.05), but in other parameters there is no any statistically significant differences (p>0.05). The average ADA in the uterus discharge was determined as 27.16 U/l. Positive correlation was found between ADA and ALP (r:0.815, p:0.026), % basophil (r:0.777, p:0.040) and PLT (r:0.853, p:0.015). With the findings of the study, ADA in uterine discharge of dogs with pyometra was determined for the first time and its relationship with some parameters was revealed. It was concluded that it cannot be known about their general health status by looking at the ADA level of the uterine discharge of dogs with pyometra. In addition, some serum biochemistry and blood parameters of dogs with pyometra have been contributed. Keywords: Adenosine Deaminase Activity, dog, pyometra, serum biochemistry, whole blood findings.
