Minkowski uzay-zamanda genelleştirilmiş Bertrand eğrileri

Abstract

Bu tez dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm, giriş kısmına ayrılmıştır. İkinci bölümde tezde gerekli olan kavramlar ve tanımlar verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Minkowski uzay-zamanda Bertrand eğrilerinin olmadığına dair teoremler verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, Minkowski uzay-zamanda (1,3)-Bertrand eğrileri, (1,3)-normal düzlemin causal karakterine göre sınıflandırılarak iki alt bölümde verilmiştir. Bu bölümlerde (1,3)-normal düzlemin spacelike veya timelike olma durumlarına göre elde edilen eğrilerin (1,3)-Bertrand eğrileri olmalarını ve (1,3)-Bertrand eşlenik eğrilerinin casual karakterini de ifade eden teoremler elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca ilgili örnekler verilmiştir.

This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction. The second chapter contains concepts and definitions which are needed throughout the thesis. The third chapter includes the theorems which show that there exist no Bertrand curves in Minkowski space-time. The fourth chapter is given with two subsections by classifying (1,3)-Bertrand curves according to the causal character of (1,3)-normal plane in Minkowski space-time. In these subsections, by considering that (1,3)-normal plane is spacelike or timelike, theorems are given for the obtained curves to be (1,3)-Bertrand curves. Besides the theorems express the casual characters of the (1,3)-Bertrand mate curves. Also, the related examples are given.
