Abstract

Bu çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde giriş, tezin amacı ve kaynak özetleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ilerideki bölümlerde gerekli olacak temel kavramlar verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde 4-boyutlu yarı-Öklid uzayında kuaterniyonik eğrilerin genel tanımı yapıldıktan sonra kuaterniyonik eğriler için Serret-Frenet formülleri ve 4-boyutlu yarı-Öklid uzayında kuaterniyonik Bertrand eğrilerinin bazı karakterizasyonları verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde 4-boyutlu yarı-Öklid uzayında kuaterniyonik Bertrand eğrilerinin bazı karakterizasyonları verilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde ise 4-boyutlu yarı-Öklid uzayında bir helisin Bertrand eğrisi ve kuaterniyonik B_2-slant helis incelenmiştir. Son olarak, örnekler verilmiştir. This thesis consists of five sections. In the first section, introduction, the aim of the study and the information about the references are given. In the second section, fundamental concepts which will be necessary in the next sections are given. In the third section, general definitions of the quaternionic curves in the semi-Euclidean 4-space followed by Serret-Frenet formulas for the quaternionic curves and some characterizations of the quaternionic Bertrand curves in the semi-Euclidean 4-space are given. In the fourth section, some characterizations of the quaternionic Bertrand curves in the semi-Euclidean 4-space are given. In the fifth section, Bertrand curve of a helix and quaternionic B_2-slant helix in the semi-Euclidean 4-space have been investigated. Lastly, some examples are given.
