Hayat bilgisi ders kitaplarının değer öğretimi yaklaşımları açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, İlkokul Hayat Bilgisi ders kitaplarında verilmeye çalışılan değerlerin, hangi değer öğretim yaklaşımlarına göre verildiği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan bu araştırma betimsel bir çalışmadır. Verilerin toplanması yönünden bu araştırmada doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın birincil veri kaynaklarını Hayat Bilgisi ders kitapları ve öğretim programları oluşturmaktadır. Veri kaynağı olarak 2019-2020 yılı Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı yayınları Hayat Bilgisi 1,2 ve 3. sınıf ders kitapları kullanılmıştır. Veri kaynağı olan İlkokul 1, 2 ve 3. Sınıf Hayat Bilgisi Ders kitapları araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen veri analiz formu ile analiz edilmiş ve verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Hayat Bilgisi derslerine ait 3 ders kitabının incelenmesi ile ders kitaplarında en çok yer verilen değerin sorumluluk değeri olduğu, en çok yer verilen değer öğretim yaklaşımının ise değerlerin doğrudan öğretimi yaklaşımı olduğu görülmüştür. Ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin çoğunun bilgi verici metinler olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, ders kitaplarındaki değer öğretim yaklaşımlarının sınıf seviyesi ve ünitelere göre farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it has been tried to determine which values are given in Primary School Life Studies textbooks according to which value teaching approaches. This research is a descriptive study. In terms of data collection, document analysis method was used in this study. The primary data sources of the research are Life Studies textbooks and education programs. As a data source, life studies, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade textbooks of the Ministry of National Education publications of the year 2019-2020 were used. The data source Primary School 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade Life Studies Textbooks were analyzed with the data analysis form developed by the researcher and descriptive analysis was made in the analysis of the data. In the study, by examining the 3 textbooks belonging to the Life Studies lessons, it was seen that the most used value in the textbooks was the responsibility value, and the most frequently used value teaching approach was the direct teaching of values approach. It has been determined that most of the texts in the textbooks are informative texts. In addition, it was determined that the value teaching approaches in the textbooks do not differ according to grade level and units.
