Bir uzay eğrisinin eşlenik eğrileri üzerine

Abstract

Bu tez çalışması dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş için ayrılmıştır. ?İkinci bölümde tezde kullanılacak olan kavramlar ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde öncelikle Bir Frenet eğrisinin asli yön ve asli donör eğrileri tanıtılarak bu eğrilerin eğrilikleri ve burulmaları arasındaki ilişkiler ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra üç boyutlu Öklid uzayında eşlenik eğriler tanıtılarak bazı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Son olarak, küresel olmayan bir eğrinin küresel eşleniği tanımlanarak bazı özel eğrilerin küresel eşlenikleri elde edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm ise tartışma ve sonuç için ayrılmıştır.

This thesis consist of four chapter. The first chapter is reserved for introduction. The second chapter contains concepts and definitions which are needed throughout the thesis. In the third chapter, firstly some results were obtained by introducing associated curves in three-dimensional Euclidean space Then, the principal direction and principal donor curves of a Frenet curve are introduced and the relationships between the curvatures and torsions of these curves are discussed. Finally, by defining the associated spherical curve of a non-spherical curves, the associated spherical curves of some special curves are obtained.The fourth chapter is reserved for discussion and conclusion.
