Eğitimde merhamet odaklı yönetim yaklaşımı

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, eğitim yönetimine merhamet odaklı yaklaşımı geliştirerek, okul ve eğitim yönetiminde önemini belirlemek ve uygulanmasının gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Günümüzde önemi giderek artan fakat bir o kadar da unutulmaya yüz tutmuş bir duygu olan merhamet, gerek kültürel anlamda, gerekse tüm din ve öğretilerde önemli bir yere sahip ve ikili ilişkilerde varlığını ya da yokluğunu kısa sürede belli eden güçlü bir değerdir. Bu çalışmada hemen her kurumda, ortamda, meslek statüsünde, toplumsal, özel ve genel ilişkilerde kullanılabilen ve kullanıldığında da olumlu sonuçlara ve sağlam ilişkilere yol açan merhamet kavramının birkaç farklı tanımına değinilmiş, ahlak çerçevesinde yorumlanarak eğitim yönetiminde kullanılabilirliği incelenmiştir. Devlet yönetiminde bulunan liderlere akıl hocaları tarafından daima adaletli ve merhametli olmaları gerektiği öğütlenmiştir. Toplumun iç ve dış her türlü olaydan sakınabilmesi ve refah içinde yaşayabilmesi için adaletin de merhametin de olması ve hakkıyla yerine getirilmesi gerekmektedir. Buna bağlı olarak devlet yönetiminden grup yönetimine ve eğitim yönetimine dönüldüğünde de benzer bir durum ortaya çıkmaktadır. Örgüt içinde merhamet ve adalet dağılımının eşit sağlanması, yönetimde dış güçler olarak metafor yapılabilecek olan ego, kibir, üstünlük sağlama gibi durumlardan arındırılarak hakkıyla yönetimin yerine getirilmesi örgüt huzuru dolayısıyla da toplum huzuru açısından önem arzetmektedir. Çalışma, merhamet'in farklı tanımları, merhamet ile ilgili kavramlar, merhamet'in türleri, değerler eğitiminde merhamet'in yeri ve önemi, merhametli insanın özellikleri, eğitim yönetiminde merhamet ve öz merhamet becerilerinin geliştirilmesi alt başlıklarıyla analiz edilmektedir. The aim of this study is to develop a compassion-oriented approach to education management, to determine its importance in school and education management and to reveal the necessity of its implementation. Compassion, which is a feeling whose importance is increasing day by day but is also on the verge of being forgotten, is a powerful value that has an important place both in the cultural sense and in all religions and teachings, and that reveals its presence or absence in bilateral relations in a short time. In this study, several different definitions of the concept of compassion, which can be used in almost every institution, environment, occupational status, social, private and general relations, and which lead to positive results and strong relationships when used, were mentioned, and its usability in educational administration was examined within the framework of morality. Leaders in the government have been advised by their mentors to always be just and compassionate. In order for the society to avoid all kinds of internal and external events and to live in prosperity, both justice must be compassionate and it must be done properly. Accordingly, a similar situation emerges when the state management turns to group management and education management. Ensuring the equal distribution of compassion and justice within the organization, clearing the ego, arrogance and superiority that can be used as metaphors as external powers in the administration and fulfilling the administration properly are important for the peace of the organization and therefore the peace of the society. The study is analyzed under the subheadings of different definitions of compassion, concepts related to compassion, types of mercy, the place and importance of mercy in values education, characteristics of compassionate people, development of compassion and self-compassion skills in education management.
