A 57-year-old case appeared in the form miliary tuberculosis after laryngeal oedema. Septic shock developed in the course of tuberculosis. Thrombocytopaenia then developed, while septic shock improved following antituberculosis treatment. Thrombocytopaenia improved after rifampicin was removed from the treatment regimen.
