Toptaş, VeliKaraca, E.Tuğçe2025-01-212025-01-2120191302-5600https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12587/23533IYEP is a national educational program which aims to eliminate the lack of learning of primary school students who continue their primary school education and has difficulties in the previous academic year for various reasons in Turkish language and mathematics curriculum and give psycho-social support in the field. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the mathematics courses specifically of İYEP which implemented for the first time in the 2018-2019 academic year and understand the opinions of the primary school teachers who teach mathematics courses. The participants were 86 primary school teachers in Kırıkkale province and the data was collected by an open-ended semi-structured interview form. The results revealed that primary school teachers found mathematics program and activity book adequate and comprehensive enough, but thought the time allocated for mathematics courses were insufficient.
