This unit is named as the Selection Box (SB). Selection Box is composed of a set of solenoid matrixes. Selection Box is modelled to replace perforated cards in a classical jacquard mechanism. Solenoids are controlled with an IBM Personal Computer. A full Application Software package in C++ (HL) is developed in order to feed Weaving Pattern drawn in a bitmap format to the Selection Box. Objectives of the Application Software are presented.
