It was found that the diploid number (2n), the fundamental number (NF) and the number of autosomal arms (NFa) are equal to 44, 56 and 52 respectively. Morphometric data of these specimens were recorded after they were skinned, stuffed and prepared as conventional museum type and age determination. For taxonomical evaluations of Myotis capaccinii, morphometric data of 20 specimens obtained from Turkey between 1974 and 1988, were also included. The results show that Turkish specimens are represented by the nominate form.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessMyotis capacciniikaryotypeTurkeyTaxonomic status and karyotype of Myotis capaccinii (Bonaparte, 1837) from Turkey (Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae)Article661637010.1515/mamm.2002.66.1.632-s2.0-0036121793Q2WOS:000174544900006Q4
