Yâran bağlamında yapısal ve işlevsel açıdan geleneksel oda oyunlarında ceza

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı geleneksel sohbet toplantılarından olan yâran örneğinden hareketle oda oyunlarında verilen cezaların yapısını ve işlevini tespit etmek ve kültürün korunması, gelecek kuşaklara aktarılmasındaki öneminden yola çıkarak cezaların işlevlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Yârandaki oyunlar ve bu oyunlarda verilen cezalar sadece eğlenme amaçlı olmayıp, bunun dışında birçok işlevi bulunmaktadır. Bu işlevler, halk olayının bağlamına göre ortaya çıkmakta olup, oda oyunlarında verilen cezaların toplumdaki ideal insan tipini yetiştirmeye yönelik olduğu görülmüştür. Oda oyunlarında verilen cezaların eğlence işlevinin yanında, toplumda birlik ve beraberlik ruhunu sağlama, ekonomik, siyasi, kültürel ve psiko-sosyal işlevleri bulunmaktadır. Starting from the point of yâran which is a good example of traditional chatting meetings, the aim of this study is to determine the structures and functions of penalties given in the indoor games. Besides that the study also gives emphasis to reveal the functions of penaties due to their importance in preserving the culture and to convey it to the next generations. Games in yâran and the penalties given in these games have lots of functions besides their entetainment purposes. Although these functions arise in accordance with folklore, penalties given in indoor games intend to raise ideal human beings in community. Therefore, these penalties have functions of providing the spirit of unity and solidarity in community and have economic, political, cultural and psycho-social functions besides their entertainment purposes.
