Abstract

Dil-müzik ilişkisine ve müziğin bir eğitim aracı olduğu düşüncesine dayanarakbu araştırmada, ilkokuma eğitiminin ses, hece, sözcük, cümle, metin oluşturmaaşamalarının her birinde müzik yoluyla eğitimle ilkokuma için belirlenmiş kazanımlaradaha etkili ulaşmanın mümkün olup olmadığının belirlenmesi ve bu yöntemin"müziksel kazanımlar" açısından etkili olup olmadığının ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır.Bu araştırmada, deney ve kontrol gruplu son test modelli deneysel araştırma yöntemikullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın evreni, Ankara İli Elmadağ İlçesi İlköğretim okullarının birincidevre birinci sınıf öğrenci ve öğretmenlerinden oluşmaktadır. Ankara İli Elmadağ İlçesiİlköğretim okulları içerisinden seçilmiş Barut İlköğretim Okulu ve bu okulun 2011-2012 eğitim öğretim yılında okuyan birinci sınıf öğrencileri ve birinci sınıf öğretmenleriaraştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Bu tezde verilerin çözümlenmesi aşamasında yüzde, frekans ve nonparametriktest kullanılmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi testlerde 0,05 olarak belirlenmiş ve çıkan sonuçlaranlamlılık değeri (p) 0,05 ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Karar verilirken p değeri 0,05' tenküçükse Ho hipotezi reddedilmiş, p değeri 0,05' ten büyükse reddedilmemiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre "müzik destekli ilkokuma eğitimi", ilkokuma eğitimibasamaklarından , "ünsüz ses/harf tanıma" ve "hece oluşturma" kazanımları etkiliolmuş; "cümleye soluk alarak başlama", "ünlü ses/harf tanıma", "kelime oluşturma","cümle oluşturma" kazanımlarında ise etkisiz olmuştur. Her ne kadar belirtilen dörtkazanım için yeterince etkili olmasa da, bu yöntemin ilkokumada destekleyici olarakkullanılabilir sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra deney grubunda yapılan "müzik iidestekli ilkokuma eğitimi" nin müziksel kazanımlar (ezgi, ritim tekrarı, toplu vebireysel uyum, birlikte hareket edebilme, diyafram nefesi kullanımı) açısında etkiliolduğu görülmüştür.Bu durumda, hem ilkokuma eğitiminin, hem de müzik eğitiminin gerçekleşmişolması, beklenen sonuçtur. Araştırmadaki gibi İlköğretim/ilkokul birinci sınıftanitibaren iki amaca hizmet eden ilkokuma sisteminin geliştirilmesi yoluyla, çocuğunilkokumadaki kazanımları edinirken aynı zamanda müziksel kazanımları da edinmesimümkün olabilecektir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Müzikle ilkokuma, müzik destekli ilkokuma, ilkokuma vemüzik, ilkokumada müzik.

Based on the relationship between language and music and since the music is a tool ofeducation, the purpose of this study is to put forth whether it is possible to get moreeffectively the achievements set for the first reading with education through music ineach stage of forming sound, syllable, word, phrase, text in first reading education ornot, and whether this method is effective in terms of "musical achievements" or not. Inthis study, the experimental research method of final test model with test and controlgroup.The scope of the study consists of the first semester of first grade students and teachersof the primary schools in Elmadağ District in Ankara. Barut Primary School is chosenfrom the Primary schools in Elmadağ District in Ankara Province and the first gradestudents and teachers in the academic year 2011-2012 comprise the research sample.Percentage frequency and non-parametric tests are used to analyse the data. The level ofsignificance is determined as 0.05 in tests and the significance value (p) 0.05 is decidedappropriately to the results obtained by being compared. While deciding, Ho hypothesisis rejected if p-value is less than 0.05, and it is not rejected if p-value is greater than0.05."Music-assisted first reading education" is one of the stages of the first readingeducation, and it is effective in terms of the achievement of "silent letter/soundrecognition" and "forming syllable ". This method is ineffective in terms of theachievements of "to start to talk taking breath," "voice letter/sound recognition","forming word", "forming phrase". Although the method is not effective enough for the ivstated four achievements, it can be said that this method is a method that can be activein first reading.When pre-and post-tests are compared in terms of musical achievements (melody,rhythm repetition, collective and individual adaptation, to act together, the use ofdiaphragmatic breathing) as a result of the "music-assisted first reading education" inthe experimental group, there is a significant difference. In this case, it is an expectedresult that both first reading education and music education occur. Such as the researchserving two purposes from the first grade of primary education/elementary school, itwill be possible that while child is getting achievements from first reading, he/she isalso conducting musical achievements through the development of first reading system.Key words: First reading through music, music-assisted first reading, first reading andmusic, music in first reading
