Düşey yüzlü dalgakıranların sismik davranışı

Abstract

Kıyı koruma yapılarından biri olan dalgakıranların tasarım hesapları yapılırken genellikle dalga kuvvetleri etkisinde kaymaya ve devrilmeye karşı stabilitelerine bakılmaktadır. Fakat dünyada yaşanan depremlerde kıyı koruma yapıları çeşitli zararlara uğramıştır. Bu bilgilere dayanarak; çalışmamızda düşey yüzlü dalgakıranın dalga kuvvetleri altında, deprem kuvvetleri altında, dalga ve deprem kuvvetleri birlikte düşünülerek kaymaya ve devrilmeye karşı güvenlik katsayıları hesaplanmıştır.

Breakwaters are one of the coastal protection structures and the design calculations for their construction involve examining their stability against sliding and overturning under the influence of wave forces. However, the coastal protection structures have been damaged due to the eartquakes in the world. Based on this information, in our study, the safety coefficients of the vertical breakwater have been calculated against sliding and overturning under the influence of wave forces, eartquake forces, and under the influence of the combination of both of these these forces.
