Türkiye'de matematik eğitiminde etkinlik kavramı ile ilgili yayımlanan araştırmaların incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye'de matematik eğitiminde etkinlik kavramı ile ilgili 2010 ile 2020 yılları arasında yayımlanan makale ve tez çalışmalarının yıl, tür, çalışma alanı, konu alanı, yöntem, veri toplama aracı, örneklem ve veri analizi bağlamında incelenmesidir. Araştırmada içerik analizi yöntemlerinden betimsel içerik analizi yaklaşımı esas alınmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2010 ile 2020 yılları arasında Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu'nun Ulusal Akademik Ağ ve Bilgi Merkezi'nin bünyesinde yer alan DergiPark'ta yayımlanan 64 makale ve Yükseköğretim Kurulu'nun Ulusal Tez Merkezi'nde yayımlanan 77 tez oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla literatürden yararlanılarak oluşturulan Çalışma Sınıflandırma Formu ve elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda veriler öncelikle Çalışma Sınıflandırma Formuna daha sonra Microsoft Excel programına işlenerek frekans ve yüzde tabloları elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, Türkiye'de matematik eğitiminde etkinlik kavramı ile ilgili yayımlanan çalışmaların son yıllarda daha az tercih edildiği gözlemlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın sonuçlarının, araştırmacıların matematik eğitiminde etkinlik kavramı ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalardaki eğilimleri ve ilgili literatürdeki boşlukları görmelerini sağlayarak yapılacak olan yeni çalışmalar için araştırmacılara farklı fikirler oluşturacağı düşünülmektedir. The aim of this study is to examine the articles and thesis studies published between 2010 and 2020 on the concept of activity in mathematics education in Turkey in the context of year, type, field of study, field of subject, method, data collection tool, sample and data analysis.The descriptive content analysis approach, one of the content analysis methods, was used in the research.The sample of the research consists of 64 articles published in DergiPark, which is under the Turkish Academic Network and Information Center of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, and 77 theses published in The National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Educationbetween 2010 and 2020.In order to collect data in the research, the Study Classification Form, which was created by using the literature, and the content analysis method were used in the analysis of the obtained data.In this direction, the data were first processed into the Study Classification Form and then into the Microsoft Excel program, and frequency and percentage tables were obtained.According to the findings of the research, it has been observed that studies published on the concept of activity in mathematics education in Turkey have been less preferred in recent years.It is thought that the results of this research will provide researchers with different ideas for new studies to be made by enabling researchers to see the trends of the studies on the concept of activity in mathematics education and the gaps in the relevant literature.
