Covid-19 pandemisinin aile ilişkilerine etkisi "Kırıkkale ili örneği"

Abstract

Toplumsal bir kurum olan ailenin yapısı ve işlevleri tarihsel süreç içerisinde çeşitli nedenlerle değişime uğramıştır. Yapı ve işlevin yanı sıra ev hayatı, ev içi düzen, aile ilişkileri, eşler ve ebeveyn-çocuk arasındaki iletişim gibi konular toplumsal olaylardan etkilenmektedir. 2019 yılında ortaya çıkan Koronavirüs (Covid-19) salgını ve salgınla mücadele kapsamında uygulanan sosyal izolasyon aile kurumunu ve aile içi ilişkileri çeşitli açılardan etkilemiştir. Bu çalışma, bireylerin pandemi sürecinde Covid-19 ile ilgili algı ve tutumlarını, Covid-19'un toplumsal etkilerine yönelik görüşlerini ve Covid-19'un aile ilişkilerine etkisini anlamaya yönelik bir saha araştırmasına dayanmaktadır. Araştırma, Kırıkkale'de ikamet eden ve 18 yaş üzerindeki bireyleri kapsamaktadır. Nicel araştırma yönteminin benimsendiği bu araştırmada çalışmanın temel varsayımlarıyla ilişkilendirilerek hazırlanan anket formu tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle 420 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın öne çıkan bulguları şunlardır: örneklem grubu, Covid-19'un toplumsal kurumları, sosyal ve kültürel faaliyetleri ve genel anlamda toplumsal hayatı olumsuz etkilediğini ifade etmiştir. Aile üyeleri arasında dayanışma artmış ancak aile içinde cinsiyete dayalı eşitsizliklerde de benzer biçimde artış meydana gelmiştir. Pandemi sürecinde teknoloji kullanımının artması ve ekonomik sorunlardaki artış aile içi çatışmanın başlıca nedenleri olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bir diğer önemli bulgu ise pandemi öncesi dönem ile karşılaştırıldığında aile üyeleri arasındaki iletişimde anlamlı değişiklik meydana gelmemiş ancak ailece yapılan etkinliklerde azalma tespit edilmiştir.

The structure and functions of the family, which is a social institution, have undergone changes in the historical process for various reasons. In addition to structure and function, issues such as home life, domestic order, family relations and communication between spouse and child are in interaction with events in society and change. The fact that family members spend more time with each other in social isolation practices that came with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic that emerged in 2019, caused the family institution and intra-family relations to be affected positively and / or negatively. This study is a field study to understand the perceptions and attitudes of individuals about Covid-19 during the pandemic process, their views on the social effects of Covid-19, and the effect of Covid-19 on family relations. The research includes only individuals residing in Kırıkkale and over the age of 18. The questions created by adopting the quantitative research method and associating them with the basic assumptions of the study were applied to 420 people in the online environment with the random sampling method. Detailed analyzes of the information obtained as a result of the analysis of the data are included in this study. The sample group stated that social institutions, together with social and cultural activities, were negatively affected by society in general. Although it is seen that the solidarity between family members has increased, it has been observed that the burden of women in housework and child care has increased. In this process, the increase in the use of technology and economic problems are the main issues that cause conflict in the family. There was no change in communication between family members, and a decrease in family activities was detected.
