Travma sonrası "yas" kavramının a/r/ tografik soruşturma ile otobiyografik çözümlemesi

Abstract

Sanat ve sanatçı deneyimini önemseyen a/r/tografik araştırma yöntemi, araştırmacıyı farklı kimliklerle buluşturan, çalışmayı yaratıcı bir sürece çeviren yaşayan bir sorgulamadır. Sanatçı-araştırmacıların gerçek yaşam deneyimlerini içeren uygulama temelli bu yaklaşım sanat eğitimcilerine esnek, sorgulayıcı, keşfedici ve sanatsal faaliyetlerle şekillenen bir araştırma süreci sunmaktadır. Öznel sanatsal sorgulama çerçevesinde ele alınan bu çalışmada araştırmacı tarafından "travma sonrası yas" kavramı, sanat temelli eğitim araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan a/r/tografi ile soruşturulmuştur. Öznel deneyimlerden yola çıkılarak bu çalışmada önce travma sonrası yas kavramının alan yazın incelemesi yapılmıştır. Düşünsel/psikolojik sorgulamanın ardından konuyla ilgili sanatçılar ve eserleri incelenmiştir. Sonrasında otobiyografik sorgulama ile araştırmacının yaşadığı travma üzerinden kişisel notları, sanatsal ürünleri ve deneyimleri ile temellenen sorgulama süreci sanat ürünleri üzerinden irdelenmiştir. Araştırma sonunda travma gibi kişide içsel ve ruhsal çöküntüye sebep olabilen deneyimlerin öznel ve toplumsal etkilerinin sanatçının eserlerine yansıdığı görülmüştür. Bireydeki travmatik ruh halinin sanatçıya farklı bakış açıları kazandırdığı, farklı ifade biçimlerini sorgulattığı ve özgün bir yaratma süreci içinde eserlerini ortaya çıkarmasını sağladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Travmatik olaylardan etkilenen sanatçıların üretkenliklerinin arttığı, yaşadıkları içsel duyguları sanat yoluyla dışa aktarmalarının onları iyileşme yolunda öz terapiye soktuğu sonucuna varılmıştır. The a/r/tographic research method, which cares about art and artist experience, is a living questioning that brings the researcher together with different identities and turns the work into a creative process. This practice-based approach, which includes the real-life experiences of artists-researchers, offers art educators a flexible, questioning, exploratory research process shaped by artistic activities. In this study, which was handled within the framework of subjective artistic inquiry, the concept of "post-traumatic grief" was investigated by a/r/tography, which is one of the art-based education research methods. Based on subjective experiences, in this study, firstly, the literature review of the concept of post-traumatic grief was made. After the intellectual/psychological inquiry, the artists and their works related to the subject were examined. Afterwards, the autobiographical inquiry and the interrogation process based on the trauma experienced by the researcher, his personal notes, artistic products and experiences were examined through art products. At the end of the research, it has been seen that the subjective and social effects of experiences that can cause internal and mental depression, such as trauma, are reflected in the works of the artist. It has been concluded that the traumatic mood of the individual gives the artist different perspectives, makes him question different forms of expression and enables him to reveal his works in an original creation process. It was concluded that the productivity of the artists affected by the traumatic events increased, and the fact that they expressed their inner feelings through art put them in self-therapy on the way to recovery.
