Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nda savaşmış ve farklı ideolojileri benimsemiş olan Nazi Almanyası ve Sovyetler Birliği'nin savaş öncesi ve savaş sırasındaki müzik politikaları ile müziksel gelişmelerin incelenmesi ve derlenmesidir. Günümüzde ve geçmiş zamanlarda müzik birçok amaca hizmet etmiştir ve hizmet etmeye devam etmektedir. Özellikle savaş zamanlarında müziğin bir ideoloji yayma aracı olarak kullanıldığı söylenebilir. Avrupa'yı büyük bir yıkıma götüren ve milyonlarca insanın hayatına mal olan bu savaşta, özellikle Nazi Almanyası ve Sovyetler Birliği'nin müziği ideolojilerini yaymak ve cephede askerlerine ekstra bir motive kaynağı olarak kullanıldığını görmekteyiz. Bu araştırmada, daha önce bu konuyla ilgili çalışmalardan faydalanılarak belirtilen iki devletin müzik kullanımı ve savaş sırasındaki müziksel gelişmeler incelenecektir.

The aim of this study is to examine and compile the musical policies and musical developments of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, which fought in the Second World War and adopted different ideologies. Today and in the past, music has served and continues to serve many purposes. It can be said that music is used as a means of spreading ideology, especially in times of war. In this war, which led to a great destruction in Europe and cost the lives of millions of people, we see that especially the music of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union was used to spread their ideologies and as an extra motivational source for their soldiers at the front. In this research, the use of music and the musical developments during the war will be examined by making use of the previous studies on this subject.
