dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we present a new approach to fixed point theorems for single valued contraction mappings defined on complete metric spaces. We introduce a new concept called Suzuki type rational theta*-contraction and prove fixed point result for such mappings. Also, we give some examples showing that our result is a real generalization of some existing results.en_US
