Best proximity point theorems for cyclic p-contractions with some consequences and applications
(Vilnius University Press, 2021) Aslantas M.; Sahin H.; Altun I.
In this paper, we introduce the concept of cyclic p-contraction pair for single-valued mappings. Then we present some best proximity point results for such mappings defined on proximally complete pair of subsets of a metric space. Also, we provide some illustrative examples that compared our results with some earliest. Finally, by taking into account a fixed point consequence of our main result we give an existence and uniqueness result for a common solution of a system of second order boundary value problems. © 2021 Authors. Generalized Geraghty type mappings on partial metric spaces and fixed point results
    (Springer, 2013) Altun I.; Sadarangani K.
In the present paper, we introduce generalized Geraghty (Proc Am Math Soc 40:604–608, 1973) mappings on partial metric spaces and give a fixed point theorem which generalizes some recent results appearing in the literature. © 2013, The Author(s).

On compatible mappings of type (I) and (II) in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces
(Korean Mathematical Society, 2008) Alaca C.; Altun I.; Turkoglu D.
In this paper, we give some new definitions of compatible mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and we prove a common fixed point theorem for four mappings under the condition of compatible mappings of type (I) and of type (II) in complete intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. ©2008 The Korean Mathematical Society.

Some fixed point theorems on ordered cone metric spaces
    (2009) Altun I.; Durmaz G.
In the present work, two fixed point theorems for self maps on ordered cone metric spaces are proved motivated by [7, L. G. Huang and X. Zhang, Cone metric spaces and fixed point theorems of contractive mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl., 332 (2007) 1468-1476] and [15, A. C. M. Ran and M. C. B. Some related fixed point theorems for multivalued mappings on two metric spaces
    (Precarpathian National University, 2020) Biçer Ö.; Olgun M.; Alyildiz T.; Altun I.
The definition of related mappings was introduced by Fisher in 1981. He proved some theorems about the existence of fixed points of single valued mappings defined on two complete metric spaces and relations between these mappings. In this paper, we present some related fixed point results for multivalued mappings on two complete metric spaces. First we give a classical result which is an extension of the main result of Fisher to the multivalued case. Then considering the recent technique of Wardowski, we provide two related fixed point results for both compact set valued and closed bounded set valued mappings via F-contraction type conditions. © Biçer Ö., Olgun M., Alyıldız T., Altun I., 2020.
