    Analysis of Industrial Engineering Education and Industry 4.0 Relationship with ESOGU Industrial Engineering Students' Perspective

    Due tothe constantly changing and evolving industrial environment shaped by newtechnologies, students who are about to join the labor force must meet theneeds and expectations of the industry. This can be ensured by the students'self-improvement and the compatibility of their academic education with the newtechnologies. In this context, to determine the level of knowledge and interestof industrial engineering students on new technologies related to Industry 4.0,and to investigate on which subjects they feel themselves competent orinadequate is getting more and more important. The aim of this study is toinvestigate the Industrial 4.0 awareness of industrial engineeringstudents. The data used in the study were obtained from thequestionnaire applied to the students who were studying in the IndustrialEngineering Department of Eskişehir Osmangazi University in the spring term of2018. The results revealed the students' view of Industry 4.0 and highlightedthe priorities and expectations of students about engineering education.
