Öğe Electric vehicle selection for industrial users using an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy COPRAS-based model(Springer, 2024) Gorcun, Omer Faruk; Simic, Vladimir; Kundu, Pradip; Ozbek, Asir; Kucukonder, HandeAccording to reports from international bodies such as the World Health Organization and the United Nations, transportation is one of the leading contributors to environmental pollution and climate change. Electric vehicles present a practical solution to reducing emissions, particularly for industrial users. However, industrial users' selection of electric vehicles involves different dynamics than individual users, making it a more complex process for companies. This paper aims to evaluate the selection criteria for electric vehicle fleets among industrial users using a novel multi-criteria decision-making framework based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The model assesses various factors influencing industrial users' decisions and ranks the available electric vehicle options accordingly. The results indicate that driving range, purchase price, and charging time are the most influential factors in the decision-making process. Furthermore, the findings confirm that the Tesla Model S P100D is the most suitable option for industrial users, given its superior performance in these critical criteria.Öğe MULTIPLE CRITERIA DECISION MAKING METHODS FOR SELECTING THIRD PARTY LOGISTICS FIRMS: A LITERATUR REVIEW(Yildiz Technical Univ, 2013) Ozbek, Asir; Eren, TamerOutsourcing is an increasingly important task pursued by enterprises seeking improved efficiency. Logistics outsourcing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) involves the use of external companies to perform the firm's logistics activities in part or the whole. 3PL has become a common practice among firms. It is therefore very important to choose the mos tappropriate 3PLfirms with a model which is effective and implementable. However, choosing a proper 3PL firm is a kind of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem, which requires considering a large number of complex factors. This paper is an exploratory study aiming at investigating the literature for of current 3PL selection and evaluation researches. This study includes 70 articles written and published in international journals, conferences and symposiums between 2001 and 2012 on third-partylogistics. The methods of 3PL evaluation range from simple analytical techniques to multi-criteria methods. There are a great range of selection decision methods that can be used in particular situations however it could not be determined which one is better in which situations. Most of the analyzed methods for 3PL selection and evaluation consisted of hybrid approaches which considered qualitative and quantitative data and were not based on real cases. These articles are classified according to evaluation methods.
