Öğe The albedo problem for pure-triplet scattering(Carl Hanser Verlag, 2007) Türeci, R. G.The singular eigenfunction approach using C-N equations can be extended for high order anisotropic scattering (triplet scattering) to the Albedo problem. Case's eigenfunctions and the orthogonality relations of this scattering can be derived mathematically. Thereby, the infinite medium Green function can be written for an homogeneous medium in terms of singular eigenfunctions. G.; Kaskas, A.The H-N method, which is developed recently, is used to solve the half-space albedo and the half-space constant source problems for both isotropic and extremely anisotropic scattering kernels. C.The one speed, time independent neutron transport equation for slab geometry with quadratic anisotropic scattering kernel is considered. Albedo, transmission factor and criticality thickness are calculated by the H(N) method. The numerical results obtained are listed for different selected parameters. It is shown that the method is concise and leads to fast converging numerical results.
