Öğe Ergonomic Evaluation of Some Carry on Back Machines Used in Agricultural Activities(Kırıkkale Üniversitesi, 2021) Aygün, İkbal; Urkan, Erkan; Alayunt, Fazilet Nezahat; Çakmak, BülentAlthough the power source for most of the machines used in agricultural activities is the tractor, the power source for the machines used in agricultural production, especially in small areas, is human. Especially in spraying and harvesting processes, machines carried on the back are widely used. According to TUIK 2020 data, the number of sprayers and atomizers carried on the back used in our country is 80 0540. As the weight of the loads carried on the back increases, an increasing strain occurs in the forward bending and knees, and similarly, when the load begins to descend from the shoulders to the waist, the forward bending of the trunk also increases. There are "Maximum Carryable Load" decisions of the World Labor Organization (ILO) and each country in this type of carry-on work. Within the scope of this study, the weights of the back atomizer, back sprayer and olive harvesting machines used in agricultural activities were determined at idle and during use and compared with the portable maximum load decisions. At the same time, camera recordings were taken about the bodily loads and posture disorders of the employees during the use of the machines in agricultural activities. Carrying the machines on the back for 12-13 hours, especially during the spraying season, was determined as the most challenging situation for the worker.
