Öğe Classification of Breast DCE-MRI Images via Boosting and Deep Learning Based Stacking Ensemble Approach(Springer, 2021) Yurttakal Ahmet Haşim; Erbay Hasan; İkizceli Türkan; Karaçavuş Seyhan; Biçer CenkerThe radiomics features are capable of uncovering disease characteristics to provide the right treatment at the right time where the disease is imaged. This is a crucial point for diagnosing breast cancer. Even though deep learning methods, especially, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have demonstrated better performance in image classification compared to feature-based methods and show promising performance in medical imaging, but hybrid approaches such as ensemble models might increase the rate of correct diagnosis. Herein, an ensemble model, based on both deep learning and gradient boosting, was employed to diagnose breast cancer tumors using MRI images. The model uses handcrafted radiomic features obtained from pixel information breast MRI images. Before training the model these radiomics features applied to factor analysis to optimize the feature set. The accuracy of the model is 94.87% and the AUC value 0.9728. The recall of the model is 1.0 whereas precision is 0.9130. F1-score is 0.9545. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.Öğe Depression Problems Among Turkish Twins(Elsevier Science Bv, 2019) Aliev, Fazil; Oncel, Sevgi Yurt…Öğe Statistical Analysis For Determining The Range Performance Of 155 Mm Heer/Bb Artillery Ammunition(Destech Publications, Inc, 2016) Gungor, Onur; Oncel, Ihsan Cagatay; Oncel, Sevgi Yurt155 mm MKE MOD274 HEER/Base Bleed ammunition having 39 km range at sea level can be used with NATO 52 caliber Weapon Systems. During the preparation of firing control input / tabular firing table of the projectile for T-155 Panter and T-155 Firtina, intensive data collection activities had been carried out. As well as the data that providing information about the flight characteristics of the ammunition was obtained and used to form the firing tables, those data can be used in different ways by utilizing the statistical data mining techniques. Structure of the study; Interrelated groups have been determined by using statistical methods in which muzzle velocities and range performances of two different propellant weight (5th and 6th modules/zones), two different elevation of the gun and two different weapon has been taken into consideration for the projectiles having similar weight, center of gravity and moment of inertia. Hypothesis testing and multiple linear regulation models were used to evaluate the data and find the optimum model by using 155 mm MKE MOD274 HEER/Base Bleed ammunition test data. For determination of the "range" it is apparent that there is an important role of the "muzzle velocity" and "base bleed unit" variables. However, a model describing the structure of the relationship between these variables is not very common. This study has established a new model for the 155 mm MKE MOD274 HEER/Base Bleed ammunition by linear regression analysis.Öğe A Pseudo-Pareto Distribution and Concomitants of Its Order Statistics(Springer, 2016) Gebizlioglu, Omer L.; Yorubulut, SerapPareto distributions are very flexible probability models with various forms and kinds. In this paper, a new bivariate Pseudo-Pareto distribution and its properties are presented and discussed. Main variables, order statistics and concomitants of this distribution are studied and their importance for risk and reliability analysis is explained. Joint and marginal distributions, complementing cumulative distributions and hazard functions of the variables are derived. Numerical illustrations, graphical displays and interpretations for the obtained distributions and derived functions are provided. An implementation example on defaultable bonds is performed.Öğe The Effects of Temperature Changes to the Anesthetic Gas Concentration(Ieee, 2009) Sezdi, Mana; Dogruyol, Fatih; Akan, Aydın; Tank, FatihWithin the framework of quality management in medical services, the calibration gains great importance through appropriacy of medical devices. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of temperature factor to the amount of gas output from the vaporizator and to enhance the consideration of these factors while adjusting the amount of gas to be given to the patient during the operation. In this study the performance of the anesthesia vaporizer (isoflurane and sevoflurane) was evaluated and it was investigated whether it the vaporizer supplied the dialed amount of anesthetic to the patient. Then, through changing the temperature of anesthetic device between 20-36 degrees C, the changes in the concentration of isoflurane and sevoflurane gases were measured. In conclusion, it was observed that there is no considerable change on the gas concentration in the 20-36 degrees C temperature range.Öğe Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) and smoking behavior among Turkish college students(Springer, 2009) Oncel, Sevgi Yurt; Aliev, Fazil; Dick, Danielle; Gebizlioglu, Omer L.…
