| dc.description.abstract | Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi (TGB), üniversitenin ve sanayinin bilgi paylaşımında bulunarak yeni teknolojik bilgilerin üretildiği ve ticarileştirildiği merkezlerdir. Yeni teknolojilerin geliştirilmesini hızlandırmak amacıyla Türkiye'de de 1990'lardan itibaren birçok ilde yeni TGB'ler kurulmuştur. Ancak sayısı hızla artan bu merkezlerin etkinlikleri tartışma konusudur. Bu çalışmada veri zarflama analizi (VZA) kullanılarak Türkiye'de bulunan TGB'lerin etkinlikleri tahmin edilmektedir. Bu amaçla, TGB'lerin etkinlik skorların elde etmek için girdi yönelimli VZA modeli kullanılmış ve ektin olan ve olmayan TGB'ler tahmin edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda TGB'lerin etkinliklerini arttırmaya yönelik politika önerileri sunulmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Science and Technology Parks (STPs) are centers where new technologies are produced and commercialized by sharing information with the universities and industry. To accelerate the development of new technologies, new STPs have been established in many provinces in Turkey since the 1990s. However, the effectiveness of these centers, whose number is increasing rapidly, is a matter of debate. In this study, the efficiency of STPs in Turkey is estimated using data envelopment analysis (DEA). For this purpose, the input-oriented DEA model was used to obtain the efficiency scores of STPs, and active and non-active STPs were estimated. As a result of the study, policy recommendations are presented to increase the effectiveness of STPs. | en_US |
