dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to systematically analyze researches related to school dropouts at the level of primary and secondary education in Turkey. For this purpose, 20 articles and theses which are in accordance with the research criteria were examined. The articles and theses are based on their aims, designs, study groups, results and recommendations. The majority of the researches conducted from the12-year compulsory education in Turkey was introduced, consists of qualitative and mixed research. In these researches conducted with students, teachers, administrators and school-leaving individuals, the reasons, results and suggestions for resolving or reducing school dropout were investigated. 
dc.description.abstractBu çalışma Türkiye’de ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim düzeyinde okul terkiile ilgili yapılmış araştırmaların sistematik analizini yapmak amacıylagerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu amaçla araştırma kriterlerine ( araştırmanlarınamaçları, desenleri, katılımcıları, sonuç ve önerileri) uygun olarak 20 makaleve tez incelenmiştir. Makale ve tezler değerlendirilirken amaçları, desenleri,çalışma grupları, sonuçları ve önerileri temel alınmıştır. Türkiye’de 12 yıllıkzorunlu eğitime geçildiği 2012 yılı ve sonrasında gerçekleştirilenaraştırmaların büyük bir çoğunluğu nitel ve karma araştırmalardan oluşmaktadır.Öğrenci, öğretmen, yönetici ve okulu terk etmiş bireylerle gerçekleştirilmişolan bu araştırmalarda okul terkinin nedenleri, sonuçları ve okul terkiniengellemeye ya da azaltmaya yönelik çözüm önerileri ele alınmıştır.
