Özet
Makalemize konu olan Refet Kandemir, Keskin’e bağlı Seyfili Köyü’nde doğmuştur. İzmir Öğretmen Okulu’ndan 1928’de mezun olmuştur. Çeşitli yerlerde öğretmenlik yaptıktan sonra memleketi Keskin’e dönerek mesleğine orada devam etmiştir. Keskin Halkevi’nde aktif rol almıştır. Halkevi dil-tarih şubesi başkanlığı yapmıştır. Daha sonra da Keskin Halkevi başkanı olmuştur. Keskinde Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi mensupları arasında sevilen birisidir. Bu yazıda onun hayatı ve fikirleri üzerinde duracağız. Refet Kandemir öğretmenliğin yanında “Kızılay”, “Çocuk Esirgeme Kurumu”, “Tayyare Cemiyeti” gibi kurumlarda başkanlık yapmıştır. Bu görevlerini başarı ile yürüttüğü anlaşılmaktadır.
Subject of this article, Refet Kandemir was born in Seyfili village of Keskin. He graduated from Izmir Teachers’ School in 1928. After making the teaching profession in several places, hereturned to his hometown, Keskin and continued his work there. He took active role in Keskin Halkevi (Keskin Public House). He worked as the President of language-of-history branch. Hethen became the president of Keskin Halkevi (Keskin Public House). He was a popular person among the members of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) in Keskin. In this paper we willfocus on his life and ideas. Besides teaching, Refet Kandemir was the chairman of such institutions “Kızılay”, “Child Protection Agency”, “Aircraft Association”. It is understood that hecarried out these tasks succesfully.
