dc.description.abstractShawkani, who lived in Yemen in the 18th and 19th century and grew up in an environment belonging to the Zaydiyya sect, is known for his high intellectual and political personality. This study is based on the most famous work of the author named as Fath al-qadir al-jami‘ bayna fannay al-riwayah wa al-dirayah min ‘ilm al-tafsir. This is also the only work of the author that has information on recitation, which makes necessary to comment on his knowledge of recitation only through this work. When the whole work is taken into consideration, it is seen that the author gives a great emphasis to the relationship between recitation and interpretation. While commenting on the differences in recitation, the author sometimes includes detailed information and sometimes makes short statements. In this study, the author’s understanding of interpretation through recitations will be explained with examples, and his intellectual background on the recitation will be made clear within the context of Fath al-qadir.
dc.description.abstractXVIII-XIX. yüzyılda Yemen’de hayat süren ve Zeydiyye mezhebine mensup bir çevrede yetişen Şevkânî, yüksek ilmî ve siyasî kişiliğiyle tanınmaktadır. Çalışmaya konu olan Fethu’l-kadîr el-câmi‘ beyne fenni’r-rivâye ve’d-dirâye min ‘ilmi’t-tefsîr isimli eser, müellifin en meşhur telifi olarak bilinmektedir. Bu aynı zamanda müellifin kırâate dair bilgileri haiz olan tek eseridir. Bu durum onun kırâat ilmi açısından düzeyini yalnızca bu eser üzerinden anlamaya mecbur bırakmaktadır. Eserin tümüne bakıldığında müellifin kırâat-yorum ilişkisine oldukça yer verdiği görülmektedir. Müellif, kırâat farklılıkları üzerinden yorum yaparken bazen detaylı bilgilere yer vermekte bazen de kısa beyanlarla iktifa etmektedir. Çalışmada müellifin kırâatler üzerinden yorum anlayışı örnekler üzerinden aktarılarak onun Fethu’l-kadîr özelinde bu konudaki fikrî altyapısı aktarılacaktır.
