Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (Masson's hemangioma) is an unusual benign vascular lesion, caused by excessive proliferation of endothelial cells in normal blood vessels or vascular malformations. It can be misdiagnosed with angiosarcoma. Masson's tumor can be seen in any blood vessel in the body, but most often occurs in the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Masson tumor in the oral cavity is a very rare condition. A thirteen-year-old female patient was admitted to our clinic with the complaint of mass lesion of the tongue. This lesion of the tongue was present for 1 year. A vegetating, blue colored, soft, approximately 1x1 cm mass lesion in the right lateral surface of the tongue was seen in the oral examination of the patient. Mass lesion was excised totally and histopathologic examination was reported as Masson's hemangioma. In this case report we presented a rare lesion of Masson's hemangioma which should be considered in the differential diagnosis of oral cavity masses.
